Story
Kane is a sweet 3-year-old Doberman looking for a good home. He’s super smart, loves to cuddle and enjoys playing. He’s trained and knows a lot of tricks already. He does well with other dogs, but he’s not good with cats or kids. He can get nervous with loud noises and needs someone patient who will give him time to feel comfortable and settle in. He’s a good boy who just needs the right person and a calm home. ❤️I’m currently fostering him with full ownership but cannot keep him because I’m moving abroad in the next coming months

Story
Thor is sweet, loving, and happiest when he's cuddled up with his people. This handsome boy is learning to live in a home by following another dog and is making great progress every day. He's also working on his leash skills and gaining confidence with each new experience. His gentle nature and affectionate personality make him impossible not to love. But Thor's story didn't begin with comfort and security. These beautiful puppies didn't start life with love — they started it fighting to survive. Abandoned in Puerto Rico and left to starve, this multicolored litter was found just in time. Weak, hungry, and scared, they had no one looking out for them until rescue stepped in. Now they are safe, healthy, and finally learning what it feels like to be cared for. Despite everything they've been through, they are incredibly sweet, playful, and full of love. They are trusting, hopeful, and ready to bond with families of their own. ✨ Thor's Details: 8 months old Approximately 37 pounds Current on age-appropriate vaccines Mixed-breed "Sato" puppy from Puerto Rico Sweet, affectionate, and eager to learn Working on leash training Great with other dogs Thor is ready for a family who will show him that he never has to worry about being abandoned again. Adoption Fee: $395 To apply, please complete an adoption application and send us a message. Story
Scoobert is a handsome, fun 3-4 year old boy who was surrendered to the shelter for no fault of his of his own. And he's been with us since last December! During that time, he's had hardly anyone interested in meeting him. I just can't figure out. He's house trained, adult home or older kids, active and loves to run, and loves chasing balls. And he's a beautiful boy! Just look at him! When I first met Scoobert, he was very jumpy and loud in his kennel. I guess he was saying "Let me out of here!" Well, one day I did, and we've had some good walks since then. When we go for a walk, he pays attention to me and seems curious about everything he sees. He does pull a little strong, but that can be addressed with some training. And whenever I show him a treat, he spins around and sits very obediently until I give it to him. This is a good sign because it means he's very eager to learn. To be honest, Scoobert is one of the best dogs at our shelter. And he's been overlooked for too long. Come see him today. He's accepting visitors every day from 12-5. https://youtube.com/shorts/_40HnT3hJLI?si=ejPUbsBu2PlqnBS8 Primary Color: Red Weight: 67.5 Age: 3yrs 8mths 2wks

Story
Holly is a 5 month old spayed sweetheart who came to us from a shelter in Puerto Rico. We couldn't leave this happy, confident girl growing up in a crate, so we brought her to Virginia to give her the bright future she deserves. Holly is curious, smart, energetic, and absolutely adorable. She loves being around people and is eager to learn everything she can about this big new world. She's also a total cuddle bug who is very responsive to treats, praise, and positive attention. Her foster family says she is so close to being completely house trained, and with consistent routines, they don't expect it to take long at all. She's learning to walk on a leash and is making progress with her training.  They expect once she and her sister are separated they will both be easier to train. Holly would probably love a family with kids who are ready for a playful puppy. She has lots of energy and would enjoy having older dogs to play with.  She is currently around 20 pounds and we expect her to grow into the perfect medium sized dog, possibly around 40 to 45 pounds. 5 months old Spayed Approximately 20 pounds Expected adult size around 40 to 45 pounds Sweet, confident, and curious Smart and very treat motivated Energetic and playful Loves people and cuddles Holly didn't get the easy start she deserved, but she's making up for it now. She just needs a family willing to teach her, exercise her, cuddle her, and show her all the good things life has to offer. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this cute little girl, submit an application to foster or adopt.
