He loves all kinds of toys and chases tennis balls like a pro.He also is said to be calm and easy going with other dogs.Scoobert is smart and would likely benefit from some daily training to get his mind working along with his body.He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. Proper introductions are important.Once he knows you, however, you are good.He has shown some guarding tendencies around food. This is a manageable behavior. Just ask for some advice.Some additional facts about our boy...Scoobert is not the best on a leash. Practice could possibly help with this bc I bet he'd be a great jogging partner!He is, on the other hand, used to being able to exercise and run around in a back yard.Scoobert is known to be territorial when people come into his home.He has proven to need a muzzle at vet appointments as he's not too fond of handling by people he doesn't know very well.If you are ready to provide lots of daily activities and adventures for Scoobert, come on out and just ask to meet him!*Please do your research on Dobermans. I got this sweet guy from a breeder . He is 2 years old . He has alot of energy like most dobermans do but does not mind chilling in the house. He is very eager to learn and learns very fast it’s almost scary. My spouse is unfortunately pretty allergic to him and so we sadly have to give him away. He loves people and loves a good rub down . I just want him to be in a home where he can have all the room to run around have alot of play time and love like he deserves. Help me rehome the sweetest dog ever!

Mocha is on the search for his forever family. After some unfortunate circumstances caused him to end up at the shelter this handsome fella would love a fresh start! Mocha is a Rhodesian ridgeback mix that would do well with children 10 and up as he can be a bit of a jumper. Mocha will also need to meet any resident canines in his future home. He has previously lived with another dog and has done well meeting canines here at the VBSPCA. He can be very excitable and vocal during play so he will need a canine friend that can match that energy. Mocha has lots of energy so a home that can meet both physical and mental needs will be very important for Mocha`s future success. Nala (tricolor) and Melody (brown) are sweet sisters rescued from the beach in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. One of our rescuer’s fathers kept seeing them running loose and couldn’t leave them behind. He brought them to his daughter, who has helped save many dogs with us before. Now these girls are safe and getting the care they need. They’re about 4 months old, playful, social, and full of love. Each is expected to grow to around 30–35 lbs, and both girls adore kids, dogs, and even cats. They’re currently completing their vet protocol and will be ready for homes in a few weeks once cleared to travel. Without rescue, they would have been returned to the beach… and we know they deserve so much more.
