She is elegant, pretty and very affectionate -- and she gets along great with other dogs. Darla was rescued from a crowded California shelter. She is a well-behaved and strong girl, who will pull when she sees squirrels on a walk! Darla is in good health though could gain a bit of weight. Darla is good with most dogs, and will be totally devoted to her person. She is a gem and whomever adopts her will be very lucky. She weighs about 69 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M CARTER, a sweet, loving and strong 3- to 4-year-old Doberman/Shepherd mix. I was originally rescued from a California shelter and am now in a foster home! I'm a dream dog! I am house-trained and crate trained (I love my crate), great with other dogs, and am currently learning how to get along with horses. I love running, playing with my squeaky toys, going for walks and cuddling with humans. If you let me, I'll share your bed! I have an easygoing and funny personality, and am looking for someone to offer me a safe and comfortable home. I would do well with a fenced yard as I love to do the zoomies! I'm super smart and I learn quickly: I know the commands of "easy" (when I'm getting a treat), "stay" and I am learning to sit on command. I would thrive in an active, calm, family-oriented environment. I would do well with a single person, a couple or a family. I love kids and other dogs, and would love to wrestle with teenagers! I can also be low energy as I love to lay around and relax, too. I weight 68 lbs. I will soon be needing a new foster, too, so if you can foster or adopt me, please email for an application. I'm a great dog.

Story
MEET BLITZ, an 85-lb stunning Doberman male who is waiting for his forever home. Blitz is a large Dobie, almost 2 years old. He is a dark red, almost chocolate color and is magnificent in appearance. Blitz is currently in training in the Los Angeles area to overcome some fears and quirks he has had in the past. He is affectionate with people he knows but in the past was tense and suspicious with strangers, especially if he is in a confined space. He can also be a bit stubborn, though his training is helping tremendously. Blitz gets along great with other dogs-- he has previously lived happily with a female Doberman in his foster home. Because of his size and strength, a home without small children is mandatory. Blitz has high energy and would benefit from having a yard, where he can run and play. Blitz is also hypo-thyroid so is on inexpensive thyroid medication, which will likely be forever. We believe Blitz is of European ancestry and like all Euro-Dobies, he has heavier bones and a larger head than the more petite American Dobies. Blitz is without question a lot of dog! But he is a lot of really good dog. Doberman or large-dog experience is a must for his adoption. Please email for an application.

Story
Freya is such an engaging and energetic pup! She is always ready to play and will follow you around the house, eager to join in on whatever youre doing. She is a big girl so the size of her current home is too small and low-energy. We hope she goes to a home with lots of space, engaging owners, and ample stimulation. Perhaps someone she can be a lap dog to! Lately, because of the anxiety of her living situation, she has developed a skin picking habit and she licks anything on her coat out of the fur. This makes it difficult to apply and keep oils on her skin, such as flea preventative. With attention, care, and patience, this habit does clear up. Overall, though, she is very friendly! She adjusts quickly to strangers, loves rowdy kids, plays with the cat, and greets everyone with a big tail wag! Freya is not a dominant dog and doesn't get aggressive. She prefers to lay down when other dogs come by to make herself smaller, as well. She just wants to fit in as your new best friend!

Story
Meet Daisy Ann Marie 🌼 six months old, 26 pounds, and approximately 97% cuddles, 3% pure silliness. Daisy is a tiny little love nugget with long legs, soft wrinkles, and the cutest smile you’ve ever seen on a puppy. She’s a stunning black-and-reddish girl (maybe Doberman/Shepherd, maybe just ✨perfect✨) with a magical little sliver of blue in one eye that makes everyone stop mid-sentence and go, “WAIT… her EYE 😍.” Her face has all these adorable squishy wrinkles, and when she smiles? Game over. See her Puppy love firsthand in her video! https://youtu.be/b9QKiUvUCzQ?si=l9psXAo9c-xoqbnF This girl does not just like affection, she fully commits to it. Daisy will walk right up to you and melt her whole body into yours like she’s trying to become one with your soul. She gives the gentlest baby kisses, snuggles like a professional, and believes personal space is a myth. If you sit down, congratulations, you now have a Daisy. Daisy is still a baby and can be a little unsure at first, mostly because she’s very attached to her people. Once she realizes you’re safe, though, her goofy side comes out fast. Expect wiggles, happy hops, clumsy puppy play bows, and that classic “I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m having fun” energy. With other dogs, Daisy is a certified sweet potato. She’s very submissive, friendly, and wants everyone to be her friend. She tries to play with just about anyone and does best with other playful-but-gentle dogs who invite her into the fun without overwhelming her. She doesn’t need another dog, but having a doggy bestie would make her heart very happy and help her confidence grow. And yes! Daisy lives with cats! She thinks they’re fascinating little creatures and greets them with full-body wiggles. She does best with cats who don’t mess with her too much (no curtain-jumping jump scares, please), and if a cat is chill, Daisy is chill right back. On leash, Daisy is an absolute dream. She doesn’t pull at all, making her a perfect walking buddy for anyone who appreciates a calm stroll. She even does this adorable little flip move when she’s on the leash — it’s impossible not to smile! Daisy rides wonderfully in the car (front seat or back!) and is crate trained, sleeping through the night like a champ. She might whine a bit if she has FOMO, but that’s just because she loves being close to her people and friends. She’s also in the process of potty training and learning fast thanks to her eager-to-please attitude. Inside the home, Daisy is surprisingly calm once she settles. She’s kennel trained, potty trained, and loves cozy naps after playtime. She may attempt a little snack theft if a food bowl is left unattended (puppy logic), but honestly, can you blame her? Daisy would do great in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets her daily walks, chances to zoom around, and time to be a puppy. She loves to run, play, sniff, then immediately come inside and collapse into a cuddle puddle. If you’re looking for a goofy, snuggly, gentle puppy who will stick to you like Velcro, steal your heart, and possibly your spot on the couch, Daisy Ann Marie is ready to wiggle her way into your life 🌼 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
