Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a fun-loving, high-energy pup who’s always ready for his next adventure. He absolutely thrives around playful dogs and would love a canine friend who can keep up with his enthusiasm. Running, wrestling, and zoomies are some of his favorite activities!Milo is friendly with most people and enjoys meeting new friends. He’s good with kids, though he can get a bit excited and may jump up when he’s happy—something that continued training and structure will help him improve with time.He has not been around cats, and he does show some prey drive, so a cat-free home would be best for him. Milo would do great with an active family or individual who can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and guidance to help him channel his energy in positive ways.If you’re looking for a social, energetic, and affectionate dog who will keep you moving and smiling, Milo might be the perfect match!

Story
Meet Captain! Captain is a handsome, expressive pup with a big heart and an even bigger desire to bond with “his people.” Once he trusts you, he’s loyal, cuddly, and full of goofy charm.Captain is still working on his leash manners and house training, but he’s smart, eager to learn, and already making steady progress. He’ll thrive with someone patient and consistent who can continue guiding him.He can be nervous around new people, so he’ll need a family willing to go slow, give him space, and let him build confidence at his own pace. Once comfortable, he’s incredibly affectionate.Captain is mostly good with other dogs and enjoys canine friends, but he can be a bit territorial at times. He would do best with respectful dog companions and a human who can help reinforce healthy boundaries.Captain would love a calm, structured home where he can feel safe. A patient adopter with experience or willingness to train will help him blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.If you’re looking for a loyal friend with tons of potential, Captain may be your perfect match! Story
Meet Pongo! - Pongo is a Coonhound/Setter mix with a big heart, a sensitive soul, and classic hound charm. He’s a loving, people-oriented dog who thrives with patient adopters ready to help him feel safe and supported.- Pongo has never lived with other dogs, but he has been regularly socialized and generally does well—he just needs a few minutes to relax and warm up when meeting new canine friends. He has also been exposed to cats and showed no reaction. Pongo is good with kids and enjoys being part of a family environment.- This sweet boy can be very anxious and vocal, especially in new situations, so he’ll do best in a calm, understanding home that can offer structure, reassurance, and consistency. He enjoys getting out and about and is comfortable wearing a leash and harness, though he does pull and would benefit from continued leash training.- One of Pongo’s favorite things in the world is the beach—all those smells and open space are a hound’s dream!- Pongo does have a history of persistent ear infections, which are common in his breed mix. He is currently being treated in shelter, and will need ongoing at-home management, including frequent ear cleanings, to help prevent future infections. Due to his history with ear infections, he has developed some sensitivity. - If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience and guidance to blossom, Pongo could be the perfect addition to your home. He’s ready to find someone who understands him and loves him for exactly who he isFTA:Pongo will be Foster-To-Adopt until his neuter surgery. This means you can take Pongo home prior to his surgery date, bring him back for his surgery and finalize the adoption after!

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $450 - Shadow is an absolutely stunning black German Shepherd with a true go-getter attitude and what feels like endless energy. This handsome boy is always ready for action and would make an amazing companion for an avid hiker, runner, or anyone who’s up for daily adventures and staying active. Shadow is a huge foodie and can be VERY grabby with treats, so his future family may want to invest in a slow feeder and spend some time teaching him how to take treats gently. The upside? His strong food motivation makes him an excellent candidate for training—he’s eager to learn and will happily work for snacks! This energetic guy is quite jumpy and hasn’t quite mastered the concept of personal space. His play style is intense, but that’s just Shadow being Shadow—he approaches everything in life with enthusiasm. He’ll thrive in a home that allows him to be his goofy, high-energy self while also providing structure, consistency, and manners training. A healthy balance of fun and guidance will do him wonders. Shadow will need to be an `only pet`. If you’re looking for a smart, driven, and adventurous companion who’s ready to put in the work and the play, Shadow is ready to shine with the right family by his side. - Shadow will need an adult only home.

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $450Oscar is a beautiful boy with a warm and friendly personality. This clever boy knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and shake paw. Oscar is looking for an owner who is up for some training. We would recommend crate training with Oscar, as he has destroyed furniture when left unattended in his previous home. Oscar would like a home rather than an apartment as neighbors might not appreciate his vocalization when left alone. Oscar has a lot of big feelings, and need an empathetic owner to help manage his anxiety. He needs a bit of training with his manners as he does pull hard on the leash and likes to jump up on people. He`s a friendly guy! He`s just too excited to keep his feet on the floor. Oscar would like to meet any canine friends before going home. He would not do well in a home with cats due to his prey drive. If you think Oscar might be your forever friend, then stop by the shelter for a visit!
