This handsome fellow has a sensitive soul and finds the shelter environment overwhelming, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can decompress and discover just how wonderful life outside the kennels can be. Gator takes his time adjusting to new faces, needing a little space and understanding before he lets his guard down. But for the patient adopter, the reward is immense: once he bonds with you, he is incredibly loyal and his true personality blossoms! He transforms into a nice, goofy, and playful companion who loves to share a laugh and a game. Because he needs a peaceful transition period, Gator would do best in a home with kids over 12 only who can respect his boundaries as he settles in. If you have the patience and quiet environment to let this deserving boy blossom at his own pace, Gator is ready to bond deeply and bring joy, love, and plenty of goofy play to his forever home! 🐾
