This handsome fellow has a sensitive soul and finds the shelter environment overwhelming, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can decompress and discover just how wonderful life outside the kennels can be. Gator takes his time adjusting to new faces, needing a little space and understanding before he lets his guard down. But for the patient adopter, the reward is immense: once he bonds with you, he is incredibly loyal and his true personality blossoms! He transforms into a nice, goofy, and playful companion who loves to share a laugh and a game. Because he needs a peaceful transition period, Gator would do best in a home with kids over 12 only who can respect his boundaries as he settles in.
