Story
Mint got his name because he is cool and chill, and like a breath of fresh air, which is a very accurate description of this fantastic dog!! Mint is probably around 2 years old, and will likely hit 100 pounds while he is with us. He is very tall, and very long, and can put his feet on your shoulders if he decide to. [] He is likely a Dogo Argentino, and is a really special boy! April 30, 2024, 12:03 am

Story
Santiago is the happiest boy who loves to cuddle, play, and pick up giant sticks! He has the biggest ears with a cute little white mark on his forehead and white on his belly, which he will happily show off with his legs in the air while napping on the couch. We found him while hiking in North GA almost a year ago. When we found him we took him to the vet to scan for a microchip and they didn't find one. He was skinny with fleas and no one came looking for him. We have been working with him on training and getting him healthy. We are in a very small space with a baby on the way, and feel that he would be happier with more space and lots of outside time. He is very social and loves playing with other dogs. We are looking for a family with a yard, and plenty of time to give him the attention that he needs.

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Quintessa is an almost 2 year old Boxer mix who very loving and also energetic! This lovely lady is as sweet as she is beautiful. She loves people and has come a long way since she first arrived! When Quintessa first joined us, she was terrified of her own shadow and didn't want to interact with anyone. After some time, she began to come out of her shell and man does she enjoy life now! She is the queen of fetch at the shelter and would play all day if she could. After a game of fetch she has a precious way of sprawling across the floor to cool down after all of that exercise. Quintessa is usually so happy to get out of her kennel that she has a tendency to pull on the leash; but that is easily solved by using a harness since she walks very well when wearing one. Quintessa seems to be ok with most dogs, usually just checking them out briefly through the chain link fence before moving on, but a meet-n-greet is always suggested! She is usually indifferent to the few resident feral cats, although she is interested if they run past her quickly. Quintessa is a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky lady who just needs to find her shot at furever! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590.
