Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Atlas is ready to be the king of your world! This handsome bridle boy is happiest when he's running and playing fetch.  Atlas is well trained and knows how to sit, shake, stay, lay down, wait, come, leave it and get up. Atlas is also muzzle trained, he prefers to wear this when meeting strangers or doing scary things like visiting the vet's office.  Atlas would thrive in an active home with adults only who are dog savvy and maintain a relatively quiet home life. We don't know all of his background, but we know that strangers in the home are scary to Atlas and he isn't sure if he's supposed to protect you from them or not!  Atlas loves to play, so another playful dog in the home would make for a perfect match! Atlas is kennel and potty trained, and also loves to give kisses. A 4-6 foot high fenced in yard would be a dream come true for ol' Atlas, here he could run and play to his hearts content and maybe learn some more impressive commands with a little help from his new family. If you are interested in learning more about Atlas please complete an adoption application for consideration at www.AdoptHope.org.  The adoption fee for Atlas is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives as well as a FREE obedience class through Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 1:39 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mac! This handsome guy is full of life, love and he's truly a bouncy ball of joy to be around. Mac had a DNA test, he's 52% boxer and the remaining mix is American Pitbull and surprisingly 10% Siberian Husky!  We certainly see him to be a healthy and active pup!  He loves to be where the action is, so an active family would be a great fit.  He loves balls and bones, and will do well with another medium to large playful dog.  Mac is not a fit with a home that has cats, and he does think that he's a hunting dog once he hits the grass so a well fenced in yard will keep him from chasing the squirrels in your neighborhood! Mac is also super smart and already knows basic commands like sit, shake and spin!    Mac's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, micro chip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic training obedience class at Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, altered and current on preventatives and vaccinations.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit.  Please complete an adoption application for consideration at www.AdoptHope.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 1:39 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hit By CarMeet Hope, the adorable puppy who is eagerly seeking her forever home! This sweet little cuddle bug thrives on the company of her beloved humans and can't wait to bring endless joy to your life. With her charming personality, she has already mastered commands like sit, outside, and kennel, and she's in the process of learning even more, including laydown, gentle, spin, and the essentials of potty training. Hope is a shining example of resilience, having overcome a challenging start to life after a car accident left her with both rear legs broken. Thanks to her incredible determination, she has made a remarkable recovery and is now all about the thrill of running, jumping, and engaging in playful activities with her foster brother. While she occasionally experiences a hip that slips out of its socket, the good news is that it slips right back into place without causing her any discomfort. The veterinarian who performed the surgeries to mend her legs assures us that as long as she remains pain-free, there's no stopping her. She may in the future require an additional surgery to her legs and/or knees, as an adult dog she may have some alignment concerns - however, this is not a certainty just a nod to her potential needs as she ages. In her forever home, Hope will thrive with a consistent schedule for meals, hydration, and outdoor time. This lovely pup is a true testament to the power of love and care, and she's ready to shower her new family with all the affection she has to offer. If you're prepared to provide a watchful eye over her hip condition and cherish her as she deserves, Hope is more than ready to become an integral part of your life. Get ready to welcome this bundle of love into your heart and home!   Hope's adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a FREE basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and kept current on annual vaccinations and testing with a preference for those that also provide monthly preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit, if you are interested in meeting Hope please submit an adoption application for consideration and we look forward to scheduling an introduction!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 1:39 pm
