Bernadette is wondering where oh where can her family be. Bernie is such an incredible girl. She loves long walks and sniffing game trails for hours on end. She is a very smart black nose cur mix that’s just over 3 years old. Bernie is always looking for attention and love, she wants nothing more than to kiss faces, love on her people and play with them too. She’s an energetic and lively young lady and she deserves all the love and care in the world. Bernie needs to be an only pet since she’s not fond of other pups or cats. She loves treats of all kinds and she will do whatever tricks she is asked to do for a food reward. If you think this intelligent young baby is right for you and your family please apply at https://townandcountryhumanesociety.org or email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com The adoption fee is $250 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only during the social distancing stage of quarantine.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
