"My foster mama has called me Meathead since I can remember. I think that's good! She say's I'm the goodest boy and a little chonk. I just like to eat, ok? I love to follow her and talk to her when I'm stuck in the playpen while he's doing other things. I like to give kisses and cuddle. I will be be the best adventure buddy!" I'm ready for my forever home!  Small black dot left ear Thank you for your interest in adopting a puppy from us! As the pups mature over the next few weeks, we will update their profiles with info about what we are learning about each of them individually. Currently we are taking applications, but no decisions will be made for several weeks. We ask that you be patient during this time due to our staff being shorthanded for the number of dogs we are currently committed to. All apps will be reviewed but we kindly ask to refrain from following up until after October 1st.  Right now, our focus with this family is taking care of the pups and making sure mama is given everything she needs considering they started off in a shelter. Please note that any person who is approved and adopts a puppy from us will be under a strict spay/neuter agreement, and it is not negotiable. Our dogs will be altered according to our guidelines and there are no exceptions; between 8-10 months old. We must follow the laws in place for shelters and rescues and therefore will not allow adopters to potentially harm the status of the organization. We do understand there is literature out there that may not agree to our guidelines, but we must abide by the law and by what is in the best interest of a rescue dogo! Again, thank you for the interest you have in adopting from us!

Story
We are moving internationally and our hearts are breaking because we can't take Zena. We have fostered many dogs, but Zena is special. She is, without a doubt, the most loving and affectionate soul we have ever met. She came to us with a hard history, but she has blossomed into a playful, goofy, and deeply devoted dog. Who is Zena? She is a house-trained, clever, quiet girl who loves food and snuggles. She is the kind of dog that looks at you with total adoration. Who is she looking for? Zena needs to be the only pet in the home (no dogs or cats, please). Because of her past, she is protective and needs a calm environment where she can feel safe. We aren't sure about kids, so an adult-only home or one with older teens would be best. Adoption Fee: Waived! We just want her safe. If you have space on your couch and no other pets, please come meet her. She will change your life

Story
Chief has always been more than just a pet. He's been our constant companion and family member. We raised him to enjoy the world with us, and for a long time, that's exactly what he did. However, after relocating to Las Vegas nearly three years ago, things changed. The extreme weather and our demanding lifestyle have made it increasingly difficult to give Chief the time, stimulation, and attention he needs to thrive. Despite our best efforts, we've seen an extreme impact on his physical and mental well-being. He is honestly the smartest and greatest dog (see resume photo). Chief is still in his prime, and he has so much joy, love, and adventure left to give. He deserves a home where he can receive the level of attention, stimulation, and companionship that makes him shine. We love him deeply but we had to admit that we are no longer good for him. He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime dog, and we are committed to finding him the absolute best next chapter, even if it's without us.

Story
Chief is a sweet, loyal, and goofy boy who loves being by your side. What started as a temporary foster during COVID became a forever adoption. Gentle with all ages, friendly with other animals, and desensitized to fireworks and crowds, Chief is housetrained, knows basic and advanced commands, and even communicates with buttons. Raised in apartments, he’s calm and cuddly indoors, but thrives on hikes, the beach, camping, and any adventure. Sadly, after a move and lifestyle changes, his health has declined—he’s anxious, depressed, and stressed without the activity and attention he needs. Chief deserves a loving, active home that can give him the consistency, affection, and adventure that bring out his best. If he sounds too good to be true, it’s because he really is the perfect dog—I just pray for the perfect home to give him his spark back.
