Story
Tom Hardy is a handsome, versatile and charismatic guy who loves dogs ... just like his human namesake! This sweet guy came to Animal Humane New Mexico from Ruidoso after the devastating floods this summer, and in that time he's shown what a well-mannered gem he is. He's gotten to spend time as an office dog buddy and in a home environment, getting some breaks from the shelter. Here are his specialties: Knows SIT! Can SHAKE with both paws! WALKS great on leash! Couch POTATO! Plays FETCH and brings the ball back! PLAYFUL but not rowdy! Understands "go lay down"! Takes treats very GENTLY! Has shown himself to be TIDY and house trained (though every pup needs a little grace adjusting to a new home at first)! Enjoys RIDING in cars! Has done well with DOGS! (Tom is a little too interested in cats, so a feline-free home is best.) Tom Hardy is also a PAWS dog, which means he comes with 1 year of FREE vet care. This sweet boy has so much affection to give and is just waiting for the perfect family to call his own. Will you please give this handsome guy a forever home for the holidays? A team member adds, " I’ve been reading to Tom Hardy for a while, and he is one of my favorite dogs I’ve met at Animal Humane. He is a perfect dog—sweet, gentle and silly. He is so goofy and lovable. I don’t understand why he hasn’t been snatched up immediately."

Story
Meet Pablo!Personality: Party-On PawtnerLikes: Being the center of fun and playing fetch!Pablo is a boxer mix with BIG “let’s get this party started” energy. He’s the kind of guy who wants to be wherever the action is—front row, center stage, spotlight optional but preferred. If something fun is happening, Pablo has already RSVP’d “YES” and probably brought a tennis ball just in case. Speaking of tennis balls… they are his absolute passion. Chasing them, carrying them, tossing them around—Pablo treats fetch like an Olympic sport and he’s going for gold. He’s also a major treat fan and shows off a very impressive sit, especially when snacks are involved. Social butterfly that he is, he’s interested in other dogs and would just need a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone vibes.Pablo truly is the whole package—handsome, goofy, energetic, and overflowing with charm. Pablo also has the cutest underbite at the shelter! Bring Pablo home and let the good times roll—your life is about to get way more fun!
