She’s afraid of the leash and walking so it’s something we’re working on. She’s good with other dogs & will thrive in a home where there are other pups to help build her confidence. Dawn is a young, beautiful pittie mix that is sweet as can be. She is shy at first with new people entering her space but is quick to warm up with treats, soft words, and chin scratches. Dawn recently had one of her hind legs amputated, but you wouldn't know it! Dawn doesn't know what "take it easy" means and loves to zoom around the park and go for walks. She is playful, affectionate, and loves to stay by your side. Dawn is a little uncomfortable with dogs at first, so be sure to bring in any pups you may have at home, especially since she is still recovering from her surgery. Since Dawn is still getting used to being around new people, please bring your whole family (especially children) in to meet Dawn before taking her home.
