⚓️ LINC NEEDS A FOSTER, ADOPTER, OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME! 🩵
Sometimes life changes in ways no one expects. Linc was adopted last year and, due to changes in his family’s circumstances, he is coming back to First Mate. Now we’re looking for the right place for this big, fun guy to land. 🐾
Linc is 1½ years old, 70 lbs, fully vetted and neutered—and he has a whole lot going for him!
🧠 Smart & active: Linc loves to use both his brain and his body. He has completed extensive training and knows his basic commands.
🦮 Leash trained: He walks well on a leash and has put plenty of work into his skills with his trainer.
🏃 Potential canine athlete: After speaking with his trainer, she feels Linc would be an awesome candidate for dog sports like agility, dock diving, or Fast CAT. He’s athletic, eager to learn, and just a genuinely FUN dog.
🐕 Dog friendly: Linc currently lives with a female dog and does great with her. He would absolutely love having a canine buddy to run, wrestle, and play with!
👧 Kid friendly: His trainer’s children, both under 7, have spent time with Linc several times and he has done great with them. Because he’s a big boy, we feel dog-savvy kids 5+ with respectful dog manners would be his best fit.
🏡 House & crate trained: He already knows how to live in a home and is comfortable in his crate.
🌳 Living situation: A fenced yard would be a dream for Linc and give him plenty of room to play, but it is not a requirement. He could absolutely thrive in an apartment with a dedicated, active foster or adopter committed to giving him the physical exercise and mental enrichment he needs.
🚗 He’s a good car rider and does very well at the vet, too!
🐱 Cats are currently unknown.
