Rooley was very sick when we first rescued her. She has come a long way! Rooley is a great dog with lots of energy. The boxer in her really comes out when she is playing with other dogs and she "boxes" them with her paws! Rooley loves lots of attention but is also very independent. She loves to go for car rides. She also enjoys long walks. She is good with dogs and kids but not cats. As a shy individual, Paine requires time to acclimate to new surroundings and would benefit from a household with another dog and patient owners. Paine is undergoing leash training and has not yet exhibited interest in dog toys. However, he does require a slow feeder bowl to prevent rapid food consumption. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00-3:30 and Saturday from 8:00-11:30. If you have other dogs or children at home, a meet-and-greet is mandatory.
