Rooley was very sick when we first rescued her. She has come a long way! Rooley is a great dog with lots of energy. The boxer in her really comes out when she is playing with other dogs and she "boxes" them with her paws! Rooley loves lots of attention but is also very independent. She loves to go for car rides. She also enjoys long walks. She is good with dogs and kids but not cats. He gets along great with other dogs, but cats? Not so much—he says they’re just too sassy for him. Like any true adventurer, Tyson enjoys a good dig now and then, so a fenced yard is a must to keep his fun safe and secure. He would be the perfect companion for someone who’s ready for a goofy, affectionate buddy to brighten their days. A511069 `Paine` 8-month-old neutered male. Ideally, Paine would thrive in a home without small children. Paine was surrendered by his previous owner and is currently residing in the shelter. As a shy individual, Paine requires time to acclimate to new surroundings and would benefit from a household with another dog and patient owners. Paine is undergoing leash training and has not yet exhibited interest in dog toys. However, he does require a slow feeder bowl to prevent rapid food consumption. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00-3:30 and Saturday from 8:00-11:30. If you have other dogs or children at home, a meet-and-greet is mandatory.

Overall, she is an energetic and motivated individual, requiring at least basic obedience training. She has a strong affinity for various toys and dental chews.Adoption hours for this week are Monday through Wednesday, 11:00-3:30. Please note that the shelter will be closed from November 27-30 for the Thanksgiving holiday and will resume normal operating hours on December 1.If you have existing pets or children at home, meet-and-greet sessions are mandatory. Additionally, renters must verify with their leasing office to ensure that dog ownership is permitted.
