Story
Persephone’s story almost ended too soon. After being adopted & returned for what was labeled “unrealistic expectations,” she spent 9 long months in a shelter—overlooked, misunderstood, & running out of time. When her clock ran down to just seven minutes before scheduled euthanasia due to a leg injury & quality of life our rescue stepped in. Persephone got a second chance, now, she’s looking for her real forever home. This stunning Dogo Argentino is about 5 years old, with a powerful presence but a tender heart. Life hasn’t been fair to her, but she’s never been one to throw in the towel. Persephone is loyal, loving & deeply connected to the people she trusts. She wants to be close to her people—both to feel safe, and make sure they are safe as well. She’ll do best in a home with structure, consistency & someone who understands her breed & her story. Persephone thrives when she knows the rules, has time to decompress & isn’t expected to be perfect on day one. She can be dog-selective but is manageable with the right dog & intros & would be happiest in a home with no small animals. Persephone is not a project—she’s a dog who’s been failed too many times & still wants to love & be loved. She’s smart, she’s sensitive & she’s ready for the bright future she's waited yesrs for. All she needs is someone who sees her not as a challenge—but as a chance to fix what they didn't break so that she can be the best version of herself. If you're the kind of person who believes in second chances, Persephone is ready to start again—with you.

Story
Meet Pagani! She loves kids, other dogs, ALL humans, and is an expert at snuggling! Sometimes while she is sleeping beside you she will start snoring; this little snorty snore is sure to make you smile.  Pagani currently lives in a foster home with cats; they are assertive and put her in her place, she may do best with that kind of cat. She loves to go on car rides and does well out in public, because she  just loves people.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   November 2, 2025, 10:52 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Lyle and I am an adorable boxer/pit/poodle/tree walker coonhound mix and I’m about a year old.  I am a typical puppy that loves people, dogs, kids and tolerates cats.  I would love to find my forever home.  I am always happy to go in my kennel for a tasty treat and I am very active so I love walks, car rides, running in the yard, playing with my foster siblings and snuggling on the couch in the evenings.  Everyone who meets me comments on how sweet and soft I am.  I have never met a stranger and I always roll over on my back for belly rubs. I am house trained, kennel trained, walk well on a leash and love to ride in the car.  Apply to adopt me today!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
