Story
Meet Jingle Name: Jingle DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (medium sized dog) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Jingle is a sweet, soulful young girl with a gentle sparkle in her eyes and a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has a thoughtful, affectionate nature and a playful curiosity that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s quietly observing the world or happily joining in on the fun, Jingle brings warmth, calm, and happiness wherever she goes. Personality Jingle is affectionate, attentive, and deeply people-oriented. She loves being near her humans and thrives on reassurance, praise, and connection. She has a soft, loving side that shows during cuddle time and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and exploration. She’s eager to learn, responsive to guidance, and already showing signs of becoming a loyal, devoted companion. This intelligent and athletic mix offers the perfect balance of brains and heart. Smart, alert, and eager to learn Loyal and bonds closely with their family Active and thrives with both physical and mental stimulation Does best with routine, structure, and positive reinforcement Expected to be medium to large in size once fully grown This breed mix is ideal for adopters who enjoy engagement, training, and building a strong human–dog bond. Owner Responsibilities Jingle will need: Daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and balanced Continued training with patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and gentle leadership Plenty of time, love, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will flourish most with an adopter committed to guiding her through puppyhood and adolescence. ⚠️ Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Jingle home, please thoughtfully consider: Your time and ability to commit to training and companionship Your living situation, including landlord approval and space Long-term plans such as moving, work changes, or travel The financial responsibility of food, vet care, training, and enrichment The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning and growing Adoption is a lifelong promise — not just for today, but for every stage of her life. Vet Care Although Jingle is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and support a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Very Important!) First 3 days: Jingle may feel overwhelmed as she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and people — patience and reassurance are essential. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, building confidence, and understanding what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, her true personality shines, and she’ll know she is finally home. This adjustment period is normal and requires time, consistency, and love. Why Jingle Will Be an Amazing Addition Jingle is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. She’s loving, loyal, and eager to grow alongside her person. With guidance, patience, and commitment, she will become a devoted companion — one who offers comfort, joy, and unwavering love every single day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a bright, affectionate young dog and commit to a lifetime together, Jingle is ready to meet you ✨   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Meet Zippy Male DOB: April 7, 2026 Current Weight: 25 lbs Expected Adult Weight: 70–90 lbs (estimate) Breed: Dogo Argentino / Great Pyrenees Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate) Vaccines: Current for Age (Puppy Vaccine Series Ongoing) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Zippy is a happy, outgoing puppy with a playful spirit and a contagious enthusiasm for life. True to his name, he loves staying active, exploring new places, and turning every day into an adventure. Whether he's playing with toys, romping around the yard, or investigating something new, Zippy approaches life with confidence and excitement. He is highly social and enjoys being around people. Zippy thrives on interaction and loves being included in family activities. His cheerful personality and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion for adopters looking for a fun-loving dog who is eager to be part of the action. As a Dogo Argentino / Great Pyrenees Mix, Zippy may inherit the intelligence, loyalty, and confidence of both breeds. This mix often produces dogs that are devoted to their families, eager to learn, and highly people-oriented. While he is currently a playful puppy, he is expected to mature into a large dog that will benefit from continued training, socialization, and structure. Because Zippy is still growing, adopters should expect a large adult dog and be prepared for the responsibilities that come with his future size and exercise needs. Zippy would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily exercise, playtime, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being The responsibilities of owning a large-breed dog Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or formal training before arriving at rescue. Puppies require time, patience, and consistency as they learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, learning household routines, and testing boundaries. These behaviors are a normal and healthy part of puppy development. Zippy will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Gentle guidance throughout his development Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, training, and love, Zippy will grow into a confident, loyal, and well-mannered companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, veterinary care, and emotional responsibility. Zippy will need: Routine veterinary care and completion of his puppy vaccine series Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise and mental enrichment Ongoing training and socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Zippy is expected to mature into a large dog, adopters should be prepared to provide appropriate exercise, training, veterinary care, and lifelong support throughout his life. Zippy is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Hi all! We have a Great Pyrenees and Dogo Argentino puppy who’s just about to turn a year old named Momo❤️ Genuinely heart broken to have had to come to this decision but we want what’s best for her and don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to afford to give her what she needs with a baby. She is truly the most loving and kindest sweet girl, but we have a baby and don’t have enough time or energy to give her. She deserves big fields and lots of cuddles and we can’t provide what she needs. If anyone has a farm that’s a bonus for her. She is a runner, so a fence is good but otherwise she loves to be free and play and CUDDDLEEE! She’s been mainly an outdoor dog- but I’m sure potty training her wouldn’t be hard since she’s still young- she wouldn’t mind being inside I’m sure! She is a people lover, and her love for us makes me not ever want to give her up- but she deserves better with our focus on the baby 😞 Shes great with other dogs, and hasn’t been spayed.
