Story
Meet Mr. Winston Winston’s story is one of resilience and quiet strength. He was rescued in 2018 by a kindhearted gentleman who saved him from severe neglect. At the time, Winston had no shelter, was tethered to a tree, and endured mistreatment from children who tormented him with rocks & sticks. Despite this heartbreaking start, Winston’s gentle spirit endured. He went on to live with his rescuer in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he quickly became a bit of a neighborhood legend, known for occasionally escaping the yard and strolling the streets as if he owned them. Eventually, we were contacted and brought Winston into our rescue so he could receive the stability and care he truly deserved. Sadly, after being adopted into what we believed was a permanent, loving home, Winston was once again let down. When we learned he was not receiving the life he was promised, we immediately stepped in and placed him into a caring foster home. Winston has been waiting far too long for the forever home he deserves. Winston is an absolutely wonderful boy, mellow, easygoing, and delightfully quirky in his own charming ways. He stays out of trouble, gets along well with other dogs, and is content with a calm, relaxed lifestyle. We believe Winston is around 8 years old and doesn’t require much exercise in his golden years. His happiest place is right beside his people, and a yard where he can roll around and enjoy the sunshine would be a dream come true. Meet Jasmine! 🐾😍 With her adorable face, perky ears, and soft brindle coat, this 11-month-old Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix is pure cuteness wrapped in fur. She’s super sweet and affectionate, always ready with cuddles once she’s gotten her playtime in. Jasmine is playful, energetic, and full of joy—she loves chew bones, squeaky toys, balls, and especially splashing around in the water! After running off her zoomies, she’s happiest curled up close, following you from room to room like the most loyal little shadow. She can be a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly and then her happy, silly personality shines. Jasmine adores kids, cats, and other dogs, though we recommend older kids in the home since her enthusiasm might knock down tiny toddlers by accident. She’s already crate trained and housebroken, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Jasmine is the perfect mix of fun and snuggles, just waiting for her forever family to find her. ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. Pearlie is housebroken, crate trained, and wonderfully well-mannered. She gets along great with kids and other dogs, but she’d prefer a home without cats. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she’ll adore them. With her soft caramel-and-white coat, floppy ears, and those warm, soulful eyes, Pearlie is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Meet Demi! This 3-year-old Boxer mix is as lovable as they come. With her soft eyes, big smile, and constantly wagging tail, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Demi is what we like to call “extra huggable” (yes, a little chunky- currently built more like a sausage than a supermodel), but that just means more to cuddle! She’s recently started a new diet, so she’s officially on her “health kick” journey—though if you ask her, she’d still prefer pizza over Pilates. Demi’s personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She’s sweet, silly, and has a way of making everyone laugh. She gets the zoomies like a puppy, does a little dance when she’s happy, and soaks up attention like it’s her job. She’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for just about any family. She’s also the full package when it comes to manners—crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Demi is ready for her forever home, where she can keep working on her “glow-up” while spreading love, joy, and belly laughs every single day.
