Appelonia "Apple" is a VERY sweet girl who came from a hoarding situation so really seems to like to be around other dogs. We have learned that she does great with dogs in a large space like a yard, but because of her hoarding background, she does not do good with dogs in a small enclosed space so should be the only dog in a home. Her fosters have shared that she truly is the perfect dog-and we can attest to that! She is great on walks, great with the furniture, her foster is working with her to slowly build her trust with a crate, and she is potty trained. And most important, she truly is so so sweet! She can still be a bit anxious and skittish with loud noises but is getting better and has been working with a dog counselor to help overcome that anxiety. She would do great in a home with a confident person who makes her feel safe and encourages her growth to overcome her fears. She would also do great with a walking dog buddy to help her overcome that as well so playdates or was together would be good for her.  She has been having leaking very sporadically every 3-4 weeks so we are trialing her on Incurin and have had her seen by a specialist and that was the recommend so we are currently learning more about that but Apple truly is the best girl and such a love!August 3, 2026, 3:19 pm

Meet Abel! Abel is a stunning Dogo Argentino with a big presence and an even bigger heart. This sweet, affectionate boy is a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He forms deep bonds and loves with his whole soul. Abel is smart, curious, and eager to learn. He has a fast recall, is quick to go potty, and picks up on new things easily. While he can be a bit picky with treats, he never turns down a good chew toy, especially a collagen chew. He loves car rides, gives the sweetest kisses, and even offers gentle “hugs” that perfectly match his tender personality. He does experience some separation anxiety, which comes from how strongly he attaches to his humans. He thrives in a home where he can have companionship, structure, and reassurance. Abel can be selective with other dogs. While he has done well with some, he does not tolerate even small signs of tension or “micro-aggressions” from other dogs. Because of this, he would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can feel secure and have all the love and attention to himself. Abel naturally carries himself like a protector and is deeply loyal to his people. He is looking for a home that understands his need for connection and will give him the stability he deserves. Abel was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and has shown nothing but love and gratitude toward every human he meets. He is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. He is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter. Story
Lainie is a very sweet girl- she is not the issue!! She is pretty well trained, house trained, and completely crate trained. She is good with other dogs, but she will bark at them, it’s her way of saying she wants to play. I’m rehoming because I live in an apartment (so no yard), work Mon-Fri, and have my toddler half the time, she’s fine with him, but she plays rough and he is wild so she spends more time in her crate than out and that’s not fair to her. She is sweet & really smart, and she deserves more play time & time outside.
