Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Tiffany Female • Dogo Argentino / Galgo Español Mix • Born April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 20 pounds • Expected Adult Weight: 50 pounds Healthy • Fully Vaccinated • Spayed Tiffany is a stunning young girl with elegance, heart, and sweetness wrapped into one beautiful pup. Still growing into herself, she already shows the gentle confidence and affectionate nature that make this unique mix so special. Tiffany is looking for a family who understands that puppies grow — not just in size, but in trust, learning, and love. Personality Tiffany is loving, curious, and quietly joyful. She enjoys playful moments followed by calm companionship, happily settling in near her people after a burst of fun. She has a soft, affectionate nature and thrives with reassurance, routine, and gentle guidance. Tiffany forms bonds easily and wants nothing more than to feel safe, included, and loved. Breed Info (Dogo Argentino / Galgo Español Mix) This beautiful mix often brings together: Loyalty and devotion to family Graceful, athletic builds with gentle temperaments Intelligence and sensitivity to environment A balance of playful energy and calm companionship Tiffany is expected to grow into a medium-large dog who enjoys movement, enrichment, and quiet time with her humans. Owner Responsibilities Tiffany’s future family should be prepared to: Continue puppy training and socialization Provide daily exercise suited to her growing body Establish consistent routines and structure Use positive reinforcement and patience Maintain ongoing veterinary care Even though Tiffany is healthy, adopters should take her to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. Things to Consider Before Adopting Puppies require time, supervision, and consistency Training and socialization are lifelong commitments Confirm landlord or HOA approval, especially for medium/large breeds Consider your schedule, lifestyle, and long-term stability Adoption is a lifetime commitment, not just a puppy phase The 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days help Tiffany decompress, the first 3 weeks help her learn your routine and home, and the first 3 months are when trust deepens and she truly understands she belongs. &#226&#156&#168 Why Tiffany Will Be a Great Addition Tiffany is the kind of dog who will grow into a loyal, graceful companion — one who walks beside you through life with quiet devotion and joyful moments. With love, patience, and guidance, she will blossom into an incredible family member. If you’re ready to commit to her for life, Tiffany is ready to give you her whole heart.   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Meet Bruno – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love Bruno’s story is one of hope, resilience, and devotion. He was rescued just hours before he and his beloved companion, Coco, were set to be euthanized at a rural shelter in San Antonio, Texas. At first, it seemed like the end of the road, both dogs appeared fragile, defeated and it was assumed they might only have a short time left. But with the love and care of their foster mom, Bruno and Coco began to thrive. For a year and a half, they enjoyed a happy, full life together, filled with cuddles, walks, and the joy of finally being safe and loved. Sadly, Coco’s health began to decline, and she has since passed, leaving Bruno to grieve the loss of his lifelong best friend. Now, Bruno is ready for the next chapter, a loving home where he can spend his golden years in peace and comfort. He’s a gentle, easygoing boy who doesn’t ask for much: just a soft couch, someone to love him, and the quiet companionship of a devoted human. Bruno may be a senior, but his heart is full of love and loyalty, and he’s ready to share it with someone special. Apply to aopt: dcdogos.org/adopt Location: Big Sandy, TX

Story
Meet Andy — the Sweet, Loyal Survivor Looking for His Forever Home Andy’s story is one of heartache, healing, and hope. On March 14th, 2024, he was found abandoned on private property in Liverpool, TX, emaciated, covered in scars, and showing every sign of long-term neglect. Despite everything he had endured, Andy greeted his rescuers with nothing but gentleness and a desire to be loved. Now approximately 3–4 years old, Andy has completed heartworm treatment and is healthy, happy, and so ready to finally find a place to call home. What Andy Needs Andy thrives in an environment with structure and routine. He is a classic Velcro dog, he wants to be with his people, included in everything, and loved deeply. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who thinks the world revolves around you, Andy is your boy. He is not the dog to leave out in the backyard by himself. He has to be part of the family. He would do best with: An active family who will involve him in daily life Someone committed to continuing his basic manners training (He gets very excited when greeting his people and may jump, but he responds incredibly well to guidance!) His Journey So Far It breaks our hearts that Andy still hasn’t found his forever home. Since entering rescue in April 2024, he has bounced between in-home boarding and temporary foster homes, not because he’s difficult, but because stability has been hard to secure. During his time in a temp foster home, Andy thrived as an indoor dog. He adored soaking up affection, exploring new routines, and simply being included. His last foster home supported him through heartworm treatment, and he has been waiting patiently ever since for someone to finally choose him. Andy deserves to land somewhere soft, somewhere stable. A true forever home is our dream for him, but we are open to a foster home where he can decompress, bond with people, and experience what consistent love feels like. Kids & Other Pets Kids: We do not know how Andy is with children, so he needs a home without small kids. Cats: Neutral when introduced through a fence, no reaction. Other Animals: Completely unbothered when two turkeys wandered into his play yard (yes, really!). Positive toward friendly dogs in adjacent play yards. BUT he will not tolerate dominant males or dogs that challenge him. Best match: a friendly, calm female dog or being the only pet. Andy Is Waiting! After everything this boy has survived, he deserves the world. Stability. Love. Safety. A family who won’t give up on him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore you endlessly, Andy is ready. If you can’t commit forever but can offer a patient, loving foster home, we would be grateful, and so would he. Andy has waited long enough. Help us give him the happy ending he deserves. Apply to adopt: dcdogso.org/adopt Location: Big Sandy, TX

Story
Reggie is a beautiful boy and was found in terrible condition and he is just now getting back to his normal self and look. He’s weighing at 70 pounds and he isn’t back to his projected weight yet, he still has lots to go. Reggie is very playful and well mannered and obedient. He is leash trained and potty trained. Currently unpredictable when it comes to dogs. He loves people and personal affection. Hes a big foodie and doesn’t care what it is that you’re giving to him. Hes very sensitive and talks to people with his big bug eyes. Hes super sweet and loving and would be a very great companion.
