Born February 15, 2024, this young sweetheart sadly had to be surrendered when her owner’s health issues worsened due to dog hair. Her family was devastated to let her go — she was truly loved. Dixie is settling in beautifully and already has a fantastic start: Potty trained Doggie-door trained Knows sit, lay down, and shake Loves belly rubs and affection Loves toys — especially catch and tug-of-war Great with treats (not picky!) Eats only her dog food — never had table scraps Home & Environment Notes:• Not good with small dogs• Unknown with cats• Had partial house access when alone, and full access when her family was home Dixie is still decompressing, and we’ll continue sharing updates as we learn more. She’s a darling young girl who just wants love, structure, and a family to call her own again. Story
Barkley is a great dog. He's a protector, sweet and loyal. He's beautiful. We rescued him 4 years ago, after our previous dog passed away after 13 years. We love him and will keep until a good home is found but he's not a good fit for our family. He needs social attention. He has anxiety and separation issues. He will follow u every where. No aggression. Never bitten anyone. He is great around our kids but when they start playing or get excited he gets to excited with them. Jumping and bumping into them. He's kncoked them down and into objects. This is our main reason for wanting to rehome him. Not good with small children for that reason. He's good with small dogs, as we have another small dog but he is not good with other large dogs. We want to make sure he goes to a very good and loving home where he fits well.
