Maple is a one-year-old Mastiff mix who may be petite in size, but she’s overflowing with personality, playfulness, and charm. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this sweet young girl is ready to find a forever family to grow up with. Maple is the sibling of some familiar Big Hearts faces—the beloved “Friends” crew, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, and Janice—but she’s just beginning her own rescue journey. Like her siblings, she is shy and timid at first, but she truly has a loving heart and is eager to make lasting connections with the people around her. Still very much a puppy, Maple loves to play and brings a fun, energetic spirit wherever she goes. She does well with other dogs and was around cats when she was younger, giving her a solid foundation as she continues to learn and mature. With continued guidance, socialization, and plenty of positive experiences, she’s sure to blossom into an incredible companion. Maple is looking for a family that will embrace her youthful enthusiasm, celebrate her milestones, and give her all the love she deserves. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate best friend with a bright future ahead, Maple might just be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Clover is an estimated 1–2-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart who came to Big Hearts for Big Breeds just in time for a fresh start. Originally listed as a St. Bernard mix, we may never know exactly what breeds make up this adorable boy — but at around 50 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of size, softness, and charm. Clover is currently settling into a loving, patient foster home where he’s beginning to discover what safety and comfort truly feel like. As he decompresses, he’s slowly building confidence and showing glimpses of his gentle, lovable personality. This sweet boy is still finding his footing, but with time, kindness, and encouragement, Clover is sure to continue blossoming. He’s looking for a home that will give him the space and support he needs to grow into the happy, secure dog he’s meant to be. At Big Hearts for Big Breeds, we believe Clover’s best days are ahead of him — and we can’t wait to see him thrive.

Story
Dirt is a 12–18-month-old Saint Bernard who is still growing into both his giant paws and his confidence. Now safe with Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this handsome young boy is looking for a patient family that will help him continue learning that the world is a safe place. Like many young Saint Bernards, Dirt has a gentle heart and a thoughtful nature. He does well with children and has shown himself to be non-reactive around other dogs. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown as we continue to learn more about him. Dirt can be shy and nervous around men when first meeting them, but with patience and kindness, he warms up and begins to show his sweet personality. True to his Saint Bernard roots, he also has a protective nature and appreciates slow, respectful introductions to new people entering the home. Once he understands that everyone is a friend, he settles in nicely. As a young giant-breed dog, Dirt will benefit from continued socialization, structure, and positive experiences that help build his confidence. With the right guidance, he has all the makings of a loyal, loving companion who will be deeply devoted to his family. If you're looking for a young Saint Bernard with a heart of gold and are willing to give him the time he needs to blossom, Dirt may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Patagonia, lovingly known as Patty, is a stunning Neapolitan Mastiff with a heart every bit as big as her signature wrinkles. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this gentle girl is looking for a forever home where she can relax, love, and be adored right back. Patty is the definition of a gentle giant. She’s wonderful with kids, does well with cats, and gets along nicely with male dogs or submissive female dogs. She enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, and is happiest when she’s lounging nearby — especially if there’s a sunny pool deck involved. Patty does have Valley Fever, which is being successfully managed with medication, and she is currently healthy and doing well. She is house trained and does not require a crate, as she behaves beautifully in the home. With her easygoing nature and loving personality, Patty is the kind of companion who will quietly become the heart of the home. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and loyal best friend, Patagonia may be your perfect match.
