She can be a little shy at first, but with positive reinforcement and patience, she has begun to shine - enjoying mat games, clicker training, enrichment and playtime with a few favorite toys. As trust grows, Selena happily approaches familiar people to ask for gentle affection. She will do best in a quiet, predictable home without the hustle and bustle of other pets or young children. Ongoing positive reinforcement training will be the key to helping her thrive. With time, kindness and plenty of tasty treats (cream cheese is a favorite!), Selena becomes a loyal, endearing companion. She offers a joyful mix of curiosity, gentle affection and the rewarding experience of helping a sensitive dog continue to blossom! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. URGENT - Shelter needs to clear kennels. Please save this dog's life! WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions.
