WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help finding adopters. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate; therefore, many are losing their lives simply due to a lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out about their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Shelter needs to clear kennels. They are over capacity, and all available dogs are in urgent need. Story
Meet Gus Gus is an 8-year-old black Mastiff with a heart as big as his paws. Found as a stray in Ontario alongside his friend—possibly his daughter—Tavi, Gus has shown nothing but gentle, loving energy. While they would love to find a home together, they can be adopted separately if needed. Weighing in at approximately 115 lbs, Gus is a true gentle giant. He’s the sweetest big boy who lives for chew sticks, affection, and cozy snuggles. Gus would be perfectly happy spending his days as a couch potato, soaking up love and giving it right back. He is housetrained and has wonderful manners, making him an easy, loving companion for a calm home looking for a loyal best friend. ##2648733##

Story
How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member. Why this pet is the one for you:He can be a bit anxious, which is common in shelter environments, but once he's out with his handlers, his true personality shines. He's a good boy on leash and enjoys getting out for walks, making him an easy companion to take along. Our staff and volunteers absolutely adore him and speak highly of his kind nature. He may have some skin issues that will need a little care, but with love and consistency, he has so much potential to thrive. He may feel more comfortable with women, so a calm, patient home would be ideal for him to continue building confidence. This handsome guy is just looking for someone to see past the stress of the shelter and give him the chance he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet companion, he could be the perfect match. Adopt Rudolph at the San Diego Campus today! Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 111 Age: 4yrs 1mths 3wks
