Age:2 Weight: 85 Location: New Hope, PA Nicknames: Ollie Good with other dogs?: Other: males in the home, everyone on walks. Olive lived as a stray in southern FL at dog dumping grounds called the Redlands. She was found w/2 other males all 3 emaciated. There are local farmers who dump food for all the strays. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? OK for kids over: 7 Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day., Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Olive's favorite things: Ollie loves marrow bones and other healthy chews but most of all he loves people. Olive is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing Ideal home: someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: other: feeling secure Health issues: none Meet Olive Olive is the most sweet, beautiful and sensitive girl and is absolutely lovely. She will make you feel so special. She’ll follow you everywhere and he will feel like you are her world. She was found with another dog, and we are pretty sure it was her sibling. She has recently been separated from him, because they were very hard to train together, and didn't know how to be her own dog. She is learning tricks, and learning how to be alone for a little while. She is totally housebroken and so polite. She is gentle around her food. She could pretty much live with any kind of person meeting big and little. Olive had never been alone or separated from her littermates. She was actually found with two other dogs in a rock quarry in Florida. The third dog was a male and he was never found. Olive is 100% relaxed and perfect in the home when someone is there, but when someone is not home, she needs to be in a crate which she is not fond of but learning to tolerate. She comes with a special crate until she outgrows her separation anxiety, which she is doing much better with. PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application.
