She is a low-maintenance gal who is happy to chill by herself until she is completely comfortable in her new environment. If you have patience and love for our Strawberry girl, complete an application and come visit!  Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. She is a beautiful girl who adores human attention and gets along well with her many kitty roommates. She is more of a loner and would probably enjoy being an only cat. Sweetie enjoys her catio time each day and snuggles in her bed at night. We think Sweetie would love a screened-in porch or at least a window perch where she can lounge in the sun. Sweetie is well loved but her person faces a terminal illness. Sweetie needs a new furrever home where she will be equally loved and receive the attention she craves.  Cyd died 1/26/25 and Sweetie is still waiting to be chosen.  Sweetie's adoption fee is $150. Midge is very sweet when she gets to know you and is all orange , which is uncommon for a female cat. She lives in the foster home where she was born with all her siblings, mom, grandmom and cousins. She's pretty laid back and independent.

Vienna and Violet were found as strays. They were very hungry and scared. Now they are doing very well and are such beauties with their color, fluffy tails and long hair. Most likely they will be timid for a short while in new surroundings but once they acclimate they will own your lap!If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $198. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $168 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) Gretchen is around 3 years old. She was taken in from a hoarding situation and is a very shy girl. Gretchen LOVES kitty treats and will start to talk to you once she is comfortable in environment. She would make a great addition for anyone who would like a companion but one that is also independent. Gretchen would thrive in a patient and calm environment. Gretchen is up to date on vaccinations, combo tested (negative), micro chipped, and spayed.
