Indee arrived to the shelter again with her friend Zane. They get along great and love to play and cuddle together! Indee can get along with other kitties as well, but has recently been harassed by a dog and is no longer a fan of them. Indee loves people and attention but is a big player! Indee loves to play with everything, including Zane. Indee is very cuddly as well, but don`t be surprised if she gets a wild hair and decides to run zoomies! Indee has done well with children too. Her and Zane could make the purrfect family kitties!

Story
Eggs Benedict arrived to the shelter with 9 other cats after they had been found abandoned in their previous home. Benedict was the most fearful kitty when they all arrived here, but he has opened up so much and now loves attention! He is a mellow guy who wishes to lounge in his bed and receive pets. He is not currently being housed with another cat, but he would do well with being adopted with one of his friends! He may benefit from having a friend with him. It is unknown if Benedict has lived with children or dogs and introductions should be taken slowly. Benedict may become overwhelmed in a busy home. He is not currently being housed with another cat, but would do well with being adopted with one of his friends and may benefit from it! Please keep in mind that this sweet guy has been through a lot lately and will need time to adapt to his new home!

Mayonnaise arrived to the shelter with 9 other cats after they had been found abandoned in their previous home. Mayo appears to be reserved, but he is always happy to come out to meet new people! He has a gentle and sweet personality. Mayo has been a pretty chill kitty and is usually found curled up in his kitty “fort”! Mayo is not currently being housed with another cat, but he would do well with being adopted with one of his friends. It is unknown if Mayo has lived with children or dogs so slow introductions are a must! After being given time to adjust we believe Mayo will do great and will open up much more for you! Mayo is very affectionate and just wants to be given gentle attention.

Story
Remmi and Dennis are such a cute pair because the seem to compliment each other well!! Even though Remmi is more low key and Dennis can be adventurous they enjoy their time together and were a little bummed when they needed to be separated for a few days. One thing that Dennis and Remmi do that is too cute not to mention, is how they will gently jump or pat your leg when wanting pets!Remmi is a senior kitty or more importantly an affectionate lap cat! She loves gentle pets, being brushed and sleeping with her people. She is said to do well with other cats, dogs and children, but her previous home seemed to be a little stressful for her. Remmi is truly a great kitty, but we want to ensure she’s in a home she’ll be happy and comfortable in! A calmer home with be best for this sweet and gentle girl. Dennis is ridiculously friendly and will greet everyone who comes to visit! He typically leads people to Remmi too. Denis is playful - without a doubt he will need lots of toys in his new home! He is also very sweet and snuggly. Dennis is said to do well with other cats, dogs and children. He is truly a social butterfly and everyone falls in love with him instantly!

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Duke the 5-year-old retired Tom cat is ready to start a new chapter of his life with a family of his own. He spent most of his life outside as the neighborhood Tom cat by the north Anchorage Costco. Caring neighbors were letting him come inside to warm up and eat as he pleased. One day he showed up to one of these houses with a terrible injury and we became involved. Poor Duke had a bad hernia that had been cut open. He was taken to the vet immediately and had surgery to get him better. It’s taken a while for the pain to subside and he doesn’t like when anyone touches around that area. Despite his rough past, Duke is doing great learning how to become a family cat again. In his foster home, he has discovered that he loves to play! His favorite toys are his squeaky mouse and catnip fish. If you would want to play with him, that could be fun. But he doesn't require entertainment. He’s great at doing his own thing, but will come running when called. And he does have a special weakness for wet food; give him some and he will be your best friend. He enjoys having other cats around, but is not a fan of dogs. He’s very kind towards the toddler in his foster home and loving to the adults. Duke has lived most of his life outside and still wants to be able to go out in nice weather and enjoy the lovely natural world. But having a real home and family where he has some personal space and have outside too would be his ultimate dream. He needs someone who can be patient with him while he’s still learning his new routine and trusting that you will love him forever. If your interested in this big beautiful boy, please call 907-980-8898 He's in Wasilla.

Story
Joy is a fabulously beautiful girl in a luscious ivory coat. seal point markings and sea blue eyes. She is the sweetest kitty you could dream of with people. Cats not so much! Joy has two overwhelming qualities; her love of people and her love of the outdoors. She is the sweetest girl ever with kind humans. She wants to give love and get love. Be her beloved person and you will never feel unloved again. And she MUST have a safe rural place to go outside. She loves the natural world and will not be happy without the freedom and joy that it allows us all. Joy was found outside, hovering under a house that had lots of cats inside. The finder tried to take her in but she was not having it. Whatever experiences she has had as a stray in the world left her with fear and extreme caution around other cats. We do not know about dogs. We think Joy is a few years old but don't know when she was born. She is in Anchor Point but she can get a ride to a loving family. Call 907 953-0333

Story
Fluffy, gorgeous, Maine Coonish in looks, Amelia is a sweetheart ready for her own family. Amelia is a young girl who went through the passage of adulthood by being a mom too soon. But she was a great mom to her babes and now they are old enough for her to move on with finding her own place in the world. She is playful. She loves the laser light and as she has more freedom from tending to kittens, she finds more fun things to do. And she shows more and more how much she loves her people. She sleeps in bed with her humans most nights. Loves attention, pets, cuddles. And she loves her wet food! Amelia does not seem to do well with other animals. It's possible that she is still in defensive mode from being her babies' protector. But in her foster home, she prefers to be apart from others. So she will need a place where she can have lots of love from her humans without other critters around. She does love to go outside and will need a place to safely explore and hunt a bit when the weather is warm again. In Soldotna. Call or text 907-953-0333

Story
Annabelle is the sweetest, best family member any family could have. She is all about being with her people and making sure they know they are loved. There is nothing annoying about the way she shares her love; it's just always the perfect way to let you know she is there and loves you. She loves to be pet, to sit on lap, to cuddle and purr and sleep at the bottom of the bed at night. Her presence is a comfort and a joy. Annabelle is about 10 years old; 50 in human years. So no crazy kitten shenanigans. Old enough to know what is really important in life which is to share the love of a family, have a happy home. Annabelle is ready for contentment and to be a kind person's perfect companion. We don't know how Annabelle is with other cats but dogs are a definite NO! She would love a settled family that is not full of chaos. And she will need an outdoor space to share with her humans when spring comes, where they can go out into the warm sun and smell the green beauty of the earth. If Annabelle sounds like the loved one you've been looking for, please call 907 980-8898. She's in Anchorage.
