Scooter! This little guy will “scoot” his way right into your heart! His little kitty "coos" and chill attitude bring a special addition to the home. Scooter loves playing with toys and enjoys snuggling up close. Despite being born with a spinal deformity, he shows little limitations when it comes to climbing the cat tower or jumping into bed at night. He has been checked by the vet and has been given the all-clear. He may experience some arthritis later in life and would benefit from a supplement to help with any joint pain. He can move quicker than you can blink when he gets his kitty zoomies or hears the treat container shake. Scooter is so sweet and handsome. He uses a litter box with no concerns and loves his morning wet food and kibble throughout the day. He plays like he’s part of the pack with all 3 dogs and the other cat. He would do best with a kitty friend, and nice dogs are just fine too! He does great with gentle children too. A family that has the time to give him extra love and attention is a must. Since he does drag/scoot on his back leg’s majority of the time gets a quick bath for his backside on a weekly basis which he is very good about. If his new home doesn’t have carpet, rugs will need to be provided for him so he can get around the house easily. He deserves to be able to spend some time outside in the fresh air and sunshine, but he will need a home with a safe outdoor enclosure or he will need to supervised all the time he is outside! Emerald is an 8-month-old girl kitty. She is a very independent and likes doing her own thing. But she is also more than happy for you to pick her up and snuggle her or give her pets.
