Shadow is a 10-year-old boy who is bravely navigating a new chapter after being left behind in a vacant apartment when his owners moved away. Despite everything he’s been through, Shadow is adjusting to his new life with quiet grace and resilience. He’s looking for a calm, loving home where he can finally feel safe and secure. Shadow would love nothing more than a peaceful place to rest, be cared for, and spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort and endless love.

Meet Dancer — a black, fuzzy little show-stealer with very strong opinions about attention. Dancer doesn’t just ask for pets… she aggressively solicits them, weaving, nudging, and making sure she’s absolutely impossible to ignore. When she’s happy (which is often), she unveils her signature move: the cutest blep you’ve ever seen.

Kathy is a fluffy, pretty senior girl who recently came to PACC after her person was hospitalized. She’s lived with other cats before and has a gentle, sweet nature that shines through despite her medical challenges. Kathy is functionally blind—she may see slight shadows—but she adapts well and handles her daily care with grace. Right now, Kathy has high eye pressures and takes her eye drops like a champ to help reduce them. If the pressure doesn’t improve, she may eventually need surgery to remove her eyes. What she needs most right now is to get out of a kennel and into a quiet, caring foster home where she can be comfortable and loved. Karma is a 1 year old female, spayed with ear tipped. Her mom was TNR’d when we found her litter and reunited them inside so mom could recover and finish weaning. Karma is 1 of the 5 kittens. Beautiful black with rust swirls in the right light. She is playful but very shy or timid. She is good with my older cats that respect her boundaries but she is fed up with her brothers bullying her. She loves to cuddle and very politely grabs your hand for pets (without claws)! She is so sweet and gentle. I am looking for a home with calm energy and patience for her to feel safe and become the companion she was meant to be. New home visit required before adoption. Transition supplies are included and covered by adoption fee.

Madam Fluffy Beans came to us as an owner surrender in February of 2023. She was a bit shy and had some trouble adjusting. We utilized our foster base and got her out of here so we could see what she was like in a home. This is what her amazing foster parents have to say about her: Madam is a sweet but shy senior, and she will do best with someone who is willing to be patient with her while she learns to trust humans. She began her time in foster care completely terrified to come out of hiding whenever people were around. For a few months, she observed everything from the safety of the condo on her cat tree, and would only come out to eat or use the litter when no people were around. If anyone entered her space unexpectedly, she would sprint back her shelter almost cartoonishly fast. However, she loved getting ear scratches in her condo, and would even purr and lean into them. It took time, gentle coaxing, and patience, but madam will now leave her hiding places to approach her fosters and demand pets (as long as they are quiet and gentle with her). Madam's stay in foster care has demonstrated that if you give her enough time, keep her environment calm and quiet, and let her come out of her shell on her own terms, she will eventually open up to be incredibly loving and cuddly.
