Story
Hello there, I’m Sunshine—an 11-year-old long-haired calico with a stunning coat of orange, black, and white. My warm, sunny colors and unique splotches don’t follow any pattern you’ve ever seen—I'm truly one of a kind! I absolutely love being petted, especially when it comes to face and chin rubs… those are my weakness.I’m a petite girl at just under 9 pounds and a big fan of cozy laps and quiet companionship. I’ve lived both indoors and out, but these days I’m all about comfort—sunny windows, relaxing naps, and lounging in my own special catio while I watch the world go by. I prefer to be the queen of my domain and would thrive in a calm home with loving humans who appreciate a sweet, mellow soul.***I’m currently HART’s office Meownager, but I’m ready for a home office of my own to run. You can find me in HART’s gift shop, kitchen, or my own special catio—just ask to meet me! 🐾

Story
✨ Sweet Midlife Orange Cat Looking for a Quiet Forever Home ✨ Meet Little Girl, our gentle, independent orange kitty who’s looking for a calm, child-free, pet-free home where she can truly feel safe. She’s a midlife cat with a soft heart, but she needs time to warm up and appreciates having her own quiet spaces to retreat to. Little Girl is spayed and must be the only animal in the household. Her ideal person is patient, understanding, and comfortable giving her the time and space she needs to warm up. She enjoys going indoors and outdoors, but should remain primarily indoors with safe access outside when she chooses. The only care she currently needs is a simple trip to the groomer to help her feel her best. Why She’s Being Rehomed: Little Girl’s owner is currently battling cancer and wants to ensure Little Girl is placed in a stable, loving home now—while she’s able to help choose the perfect fit. She wants Little Girl to be settled, safe, and loved long-term.

Story
Meet Lil Bear at PetCo Santa Maria — ready for a new life! 6-year-old female | DLH black with warm brown undertones Lil Bear is a quiet, undemanding sweetheart with the softest presence. She’s gentle, friendly, and truly enjoys being held and petted—and she’ll start purring almost immediately. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion, Lil Bear may be your perfect match. She was rescued from the streets of San Bernardino after being found pregnant. Thankfully, she was taken in to be spayed after what was likely far too many litters. Although she was originally returned outdoors, it quickly became clear that Lil Bear is a people-loving girl who belongs in a home. Her friendly nature and easygoing personality made her an ideal candidate for adoption. Now, Lil Bear is ready to leave her hard past behind and become a cherished member of a loving family. She’s prepared for the cozy, safe life she’s always deserved.

Story
Does your kitty need a kitty friend? Statler is your boy! He is a very chill, non-demanding, one year old beautiful kitty with luxurious fur that he keeps very clean and nice. He enjoys face scratches when he's lounging, but otherwise keeps to himself or plays with his kitty friends. He is a wonderful big brother to the new foster kittens in the house, he is so gentle and loving to them. He'd make a wonderful pair with any of our foster kitties, but he must go to a home with a kitty to be his friend, so that he'll remain his happy cutie self!

Story
Meet Paisley! She is the softest and most adorable tuxedo you will meet. She has a fluffy lemur tail just waiting to wrap around your legs. She will have the deepest conversations too, with her purr motor going full speed. Paisley is an easy going babe who loves long soaks in the sun (window ledge or on her cat tree) and long cuddles with her humans. Shes a toe licker too! With such a playful demeanor, any toy is her favorite. She races up and down the floor with her foster sister, Pixie. One of her favorite things to do is help unload and load your dishwasher! Pixie lives in a home with her foster sister, adult cats and dogs, and kids. Paisley will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Paisley was born in April.
