Story
Meet Tiger and Monica, two sweet bonded “sisters.” When she was a kitten in 2020, Monica was adopted to be friends with Tiger, and they did indeed become BFFs. Sadly, they had to come back to Happy Cats because of a family illness, through no fault of their own. Monica is the big beautiful tuxedo with what must be the world’s longest and most luxurious whiskers! Her 8 YO friend Tiger is the wise tabby lady of the two, who helps keep them both grounded and less stressed. They can often be found snuggled and grooming together. Tiger will definitely like being your new Kitty Admin, following you around to trade purrs for pets. Monica is a little more anxious, but once she knows she’s safe among friends–even new ones!–she’s chatty and as ready as Tiger to meet you at the door. We expect both will be loving and loyal companions who are happy to snuggle. Tiger loves laptime already with her new friends. Monica is content to be the Sidecar Kitty who snuggles right next to you for now. Just make sure to let Monica tell you when she’s finished with petting, as she can get a little more stimulated than Tiger does. They’re both happy to have daily playtime, so they can chase and get out their energy. Just about any kitty wand will do, anything that gets them leaping and moving! They were friends with a small dog who Monica used to play with, so will likely be friends with another smallish cat-savvy dog with a gentle introduction. Monica has only known Tiger so may do best in a home without other cats and will probably do best in a home without small children unless they are especially in tune with cat body language. These two lovely ladies can be adopted together for $120 which includes their spays, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started. You can click here http://happycatshaven.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an Adoption Application or leave a message at 719-725-4970. Someone should get back to you during our adoption hours Wednesday – Sunday by 5 pm. If you need to contact someone more quickly, please call 719-362-4600 and we’ll do our best to get back to you within 48 hours.

Story
Judy and her daughter Lana are looking for their forever home. These beauties will need to be adopted together. Mama Judy is a gorgeous long-haired black cat with white on her face. She's still shy but is getting better about being petted. She wants to be a sweetheart and needs someone with patience to help her feel comfortable. She is estimated to be around 4 years old. Lana, the young daughter of Judy is a beauty just like her mom! She is also a domestic long haired black cat with white. She was born on 3/31/21. Judy was a wonderful mom and has always been close to Lana, who is quite a character and very outgoing! She plays a lot and wants to be chased, then be held. She loves to be brushed. Lana helps Judy feel more comfortable and she definitely needs her to feel safe and gain confidence. Both have lived with other cats. Lana is very interested in the resident dogs in her foster home. Judy and Lana would do best in a quiet home. Judy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $125. She is being fostered in Peyton. Story
This gorgeous, loving trio is exactly what you are looking for! Olivia, Ellie and Lilly are bonded and are ready to find their forever home together! Olivia is a little ray of sunshine. This gorgeous long-haired tuxedo is “the leader” of the trio. She has guided the sisters throughout their stay in foster care. She has shown them that they can play with toys and be comfortable in a loving home. The sisters are always looking to her for guidance and she makes them feel safe. Olivia is the most outgoing and will make herself at home quickly. She loves spending time with Ellie and Lilly, but has also made quick friends with the resident dog and cat in her foster home and is the social butterfly of the trio. Ellie (brown/black with white) will make you fall in love with her instantly. While shy at first, she has been a wonderful surprise once she learns how to trust! Once she is comfortable, she will constantly roll over on her back and ask for…. wait for it… belly rubs!!! Yes, you read that right! She is learning to be picked up and stay on your lap. She will follow you around the kitchen and rub herself around your legs. She knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time and will be the first one waiting at her bowl! Lilly (gray and white) is still shy and reserved, but she knows when it’s play time and will be waiting by your feet for “laser time.” The interactive playtime has helped gain her trust as well as treats and wet food! With time and patience, you will find her sometimes sitting by your legs or just next to you, so you know she loves you, but on her own terms. She likes taking naps on her bed and watching the squirrels from the window perch. Despite their hard start in life, they are unique in every aspect. They are loving, playful, full of energy, intelligent and know when it’s time to play. They especially love playing with the laser (their favorite toy) and wand toys. They love to sit in the sunbeam and watch out the window while cuddling with each other. The girls get along with other friendly cats and don’t mind dogs (as long as they’re introduced slowly). Their cute meows are a plus! They would do best in a calm home with no younger children. Olivia, Ellie, and Lilly are a ready-made, fluffy feline family! Their unique personalities and gentle nature make them a purrfect addition to a loving home. These charming cats have a lot of love to give, especially with someone who is patient and caring. They are all about 1 ½ years old and all are spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. The adoption fee is $150 for each kitty. They are being fostered in Westminster. If you are interested in adopting this sweet trio, please submit an application to www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication Additional video of Olivia and Lilly: https://youtu.be/DLamnqPR_N4?si=50td9PND8gXAQgTN
