Story
Niles is at least 6 years old, and a very distinguished and polite gentleman in his long black and white tuxedo coat with a big plume of a tail. The perfect home for him will be as an only cat, no dogs, no kids, and of course, indoors-only. He is the ultimate chill companion cat and just wants a quiet, stress-free home where he can hang out with a calm adult (or adults) human. He's the best biscuit maker and loves being combed out and even accepts tummy rubs. He currently is being fostered with other cats but he gets lost in the crowd and does not get the attention he craves. Niles is neutered, current on rabies and distemper vaccines, and current on flea and worm prevention. He does great at the vet clinic for his annual visits and is a favorite. He has tested positive for FIV twice in the past two years but is healthy and asymptomatic. FIV+ cats can live long, normal lives especially when kept indoors and pampered. If you want to read more about FIV, check out this site https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Cat Zip Alliance - Campus Cats in Athens, GA adopts to indoor only homes. We do not have a set adoption fee but ask for an adoption fee of your choice. We do require a cat carrier for safe transport. Please share! Email us at feralcatcaregivers@yahoo.com if you are interested in meeting him!
