Story
sib: Mars Q"Do you want a sweet lap cat who wants nothing more than to be loved? Are you hesitant to get a cat because they jump on counters and tables? We are the right fit for you! Moon and Mars have cerebellar hypoplasia, which is a condition developed in-utero that prevents their cerebellum from fully forming. The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating movement and balance. As a result, they have some mobility issues. CH is often called wobbly cat syndrome. It is a harmless, non-progressive condition. It is not a disease and is not transmittable to other animals. CH cats have similar life spans and overall health as non-CH cats. You can learn more about this condition here: https://vetmed.tamu.edu/news/pet-talk/wobbly-cat-syndrome/  or with a Google search.   Moon and Mars are semi-bonded brothers but would probably be ok separated. They are both considered 'moderate CH' meaning they are mobile but are not going to be running around your house. Moon is the more mobile of the two and regularly gets up to walk around but is very content to hang out in your lap. Mars is slightly less mobile but will get up and try to walk, but would 100% rather be in your lap. They are both very affection and food motivated, so if they sense they are going to get pets or a delicious snack, they do everything they can to get to you. Moon kind of flops more than walks, but we are working on strengthening his legs so he has more confidence to walk more. Both kittens will get where they want to go when they want to go (except on high surfaces) but would really love to be lap kitties. Their little motors run like crazy when they are getting love! They have normal cat personalities-want to play, get loved, eat canned food- but these guys are extra sweet. They are able to use the litterbox with the only accommodation being a lower walled box to get in easier. They eat and drink like normal. They would be perfect for a smaller home or apartment, preferably with carpet or rugs to make it easier for them to get their footing. Please consider these sweet boys as a great addition to your home!" Are currently being introduced to dogs but are a little fearful. Kids are good.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 7:45 pm

Story
Dandelion is a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land. At 11 years young, she’s a calm and affectionate kitty who still has plenty of love to give. Dandelion enjoys quiet companionship, cozy naps in sunny spots, and head scratches from kind humans. She gets along ok with other cats and would make a wonderful addition to a mellow multi-cat household—or she’d be just as happy soaking up all the attention in a quiet home of her own. If you're looking for a serene, loving feline companion, Dandelion might just be your perfect match. Come meet this lovely lady and let her charm you in person!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 21, 2025, 2:30 pm

About 5 years old. Very affectionate. Custom to being outside but would recommend keeping him indoors for a while to get used to his new home. He was my mom’s cat but she passed away last year. I plan on traveling frequently and moving to California with no specific deadline.

Story
Meet Pumpkin! This sweet girl is bonded to her bestie Lenny, and these two gorgeous kitties came to Furkids in August of 2024 after their owner passed away. These two are understandably sad and grieving their human, but have made so much progress since coming to Furkids. They’re so brave! Pumpkin is shy at first, but if you give her a Churu, she will come out to accept pets! Pumpkin will need someone who can give her the time and patience to trust again, but she promises so much love in return.

Story
Meet Hiccup! I adopted him from Furrkids about 4 years ago. Hiccup is a tripod, lost one of his back legs well before I adopted him and the cause is unknown. He is super social and out going. He enjoys exploring on a lease, going to daycare and boarding, and get along great with most dogs he’s met. (Doesn’t like cats) He is a very confident cat and doesn’t take well to being left home along like most cats. He thinks himself more similar to a small dog in many ways, always in a lap and begging for attention. I’m looking to rehome him due to my own health concerns. I’m mildly allergic to cats and starting to expand my family, and unfortunately we don’t have the time or energy to give him the attention and love he needs. Please message me if your interested in more information🫶
