Story
Buttermilk came to us from a shelter in Philly as a kitten and we have loved having her around! She is now 3 years old! She's very shy and skittish, and will need time to acclimate. She has lived with both cats and dogs, but generally prefers to be alone and will only socialize a small amount of time. She usually keeps to herself and will come around for pets and occasional play time. She is not a big cuddle bug, but will let you love on her if you catch her laying down. The "behavioral" issue that has risen is she seems content with peeing on the couch. We have tried everything we can think of (medical, change of food, litter box location change, etc.) and we cant seem to get her to stop. Our thinking is that she may just be really anxious with her current environment. We would prefer to find someone who can solely focus on making sure she's in a comfortable environment. If you have any questions about her please let me know!

Story
Hello, my name is Maki. I’m a sorta old lady, but am still very loving. I am super friendly. I love being around, greeting and meeting new people. I can be a little talkative sometimes, but I’m not very needy, just need a little attention from time to time. Overall, I am very chill and mellow. I promise you I’m a great cat!!

Story
Hello, We are looking to rehome our cat, Summer, who is 5 years old. My husband and I got him from Atlanta Humane Society back in 2019 and he has been joy to our lives. After we got him, we started having kids and unfortunately Summer has been struggling to cope with it. Although he is good with our kids, generally well behaved, he has been very anxious and scared about being around them. He is very good with anyone who visits our house (family members, friends, and older kids) and always wants to be petted and play with them, but he is not being himself around our kids, mostly due to their age not being too careful around Summer. Additionally, our first kid (toddler) has had intense eczema and we learned that Summer’s long fur does not help. We really do think Summer deserves better home who can really appreciate him. He is very playful and loves to be around people (adults or older kids particularly). He likes playing and hunting (his toy mouse) and he loves tall cat towers.

Story
Craig is a playful boy who ran into a warehouse at a very early age, approximately 6-8 weeks. The owners of the establishment gave him great food, litter box, toys and a cat pole to play and hide in. It did not take long for them to realize Craig needed a family and a friend. They reached out to Paw Project and we took Craig into our adoption program. He is now ready to brighten your life and make you smile with his playful antics. Craig is negative for FIV/FeLV, up to date on vaccines (for his age), microchipped, neutered and up to date on flea/heartworm prevention. If you would like to meet Craig, please complete our on-line cat questionnaire at the following web address: https://pawprojectofgeorgia.org/cat-questionnaires Email it to adoptions@pawprojectofgeorgia.org. We will review the questionnaire and get back to you.July 23, 2024, 8:40 am
