Story
Jeanette is a sweet girl that is rather lazy and we love that about her :). We call her our comb over baby because of her unique hairline. Her boyfriend is Oakley and you can find them sleeping in any of the rooms at the shelter. Jeanette was adopted but returned as she is not good with small children. Come meet this sweet girl.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Angel and Bit-Bit are doing great. They know they are in a place where the people love them. They are out of their shell and love to have attention. However, they know this is not a home and they really want to be back in to one. If you are looking for two big, beautiful boys, these are your guys. They need to be adopted together. Let us know if you are interested and we will talk with you more about it.Cut and Paste application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ct0QYvSBYVQvBXjU3oFPH7nMRnuzAob4K24LdDMRM8U/editThese cats are being adopted together for a fee of $250 for the pair.Angel and his "brother" BitBit are big cats. They are big scared cats at the moment. Their Mom was an older woman whose health got her to where she could no longer care for these boys who were adopted at the same time and have lived together since then. They are 5 years old and we would love for them to be able to stay together. We are giving them time to decompress now. The shelter is a big, scary place for the guys. But we are showing that we love and care for them and are going to do our best to find them a wonderful place to live. We will make sure all their vetting is up to date and then begin looking for their perfect new home.

Story
Aly is a very calm and snuggly kitty. Her temperament is phenomenal. She does enjoy playing hide and seek. She likes to chase you and to be chased. She loves to watch the birds and squirrels. She is food motivated and weighs 7lbs. Sometimes she’ll get under the covers and snuggle with me. She’s skittish and dislikes new places. She does well in the car. I keep her on a harness, not in a carrier. She eventually calms down and sleeps. She prefers to be held and likes to be constantly petted. She has a sensitive tummy so I’m picky about what kind of food I give her. She’s such a sweet girl.

Story
If you’re seeking that rare blend of sassy and sweet, Gorgeous Gracie is a unique find. Gracie is a temptress, luring you in by coming to you quickly and wrapping her fluffy tail around your legs. She looks at you with those adoring eyes asking to be petted… but beware! Gracie tests everyone by first nuzzling and licking you and then giving love bites. She just looks at you like you missed the point if you back away or reprimand her… Gracie requires that you invest the time in a relationship. This gal has a heart of gold and will love you without limits but only IF you are willing to engage her with her rules in mind. A few of our volunteers have devoted the time to earn Gracie’s trust and, once earned, she is a joy to be around. When around those who’ve bonded with her, Gracie is an absolute pleasure. She purrs, she flips on her back and lets you rub her belly, she crawls on your lap and nuzzles you, she talks to you and responds to anything you do. Gracie is playful and loves climbing on perches and warming in the sun. She’s backpack trained – yep, she’ll climb into your backpack and totally love to hike around with you. Toys? Ha, no toy mouse or feather escapes her. And there’s absolutely nothing better than ending your time together with snuggles… and this furball gives quite amazing snuggles. Gracie is like that person in your life where you initially wonder “why bother” but after you invest the time you couldn’t imagine life with anyone else. She is so intensely sweet and loving she’s just like someone who makes it hard for you to love until you find out why, and then you can’t imagine loving anyone more. Given her nature, we feel Gracie would be best as an only cat in a household with only adults. Regarding other cats, Gracie plays her “come here go away” game with other cats too. Our cats who also have spent months with her know that as well, and they enjoy baiting her and then running away. Gracie will exchange growls with larger cats, although there is rarely any physical exchange, but kittens will just retreat wondering what they did wrong. We don’t know about dogs but would guess she’d stand her ground and likely intimidate a dog… just a guess. If you’re looking for a young cat with “catitude” and are willing to put time into building a relationship that will bring endless love and snuggles and commitment, please come meet our Gracie.INDOOR ONLY Adoption fee: $65~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. Story
Millie is a 2 year old cat who was adopted from Petsmart nearly two years ago and has been an amazing companion. She is slow to warm up to you as it took a year for her to let me fully pet her and be comfortable with her. She is very tame and peaceful. She is playful with cat toys and very interested in lasers :)
