Story
Fable is a very sweet mama cat with a shy, gentle personality that makes her especially endearing. She loves having her head scratched and will happily lean into affection once she feels safe. She’s still figuring out how she feels about butt scratches. She’s all in for a few seconds, then suddenly decides it’s a bit too much and politely excuses herself, which is both hilarious and charming. Fable loves to loaf in the cutest little spots and would be over the moon to have a cozy cave bed to call her own. Once she warms up, she shows her affection by rolling over and presenting her belly, clearly hoping for compliments and attention, a strategy that works every time. Fable would thrive in a calm, patient home that appreciates a shy sweetheart with a gentle heart, quirky habits, and a love for cozy comfort. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.

Story
Ruby is a little lady with a big personality! She’s independent and curious, perfectly content to explore or nap at the foot of your bed. She’s got a playful side too — her favorite hobbies include chasing string toys and hunting pesky flies (she takes her job seriously!). Ruby would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a cat with both spirit and grace.

Story
Big Fluff is a sweet boy who was rescued from the mean streets of Chattanooga. A big old tomcat, he was regularly getting beat up and when he showed up at a house where he knew other cats lived, he was in rough shape. They felt sorry for him and decided he needed to be a house cat. He is almost completely healed now and ready for adoption and he has adjusted nicely to living indoors only. He is a hefty guy we think is approx 4-5 years old. Unfortunately as is common with tomcats he is positive for FIV. He can live a long normal life with proper nutrition and living strictly indoors. Story
Junebug is a great but aging cat (14 years old approximately) and my Wife and I are expecting our firstborn in May so we are looking to rehome her as she (rarely) will poop and pee on the floor in small spots. We believe it is a bladder control issue and she's not even aware of it, and sometimes she will use the bath tub instead of her 3 clean litterboxes. She is super sweet and will meow to greet you but is not a loud or overly vocal cat. She enjoys chasing lasers, back scratches, and the occasional treat. She is a little on the overweight side (about 12 lbs) but we have been working to get her weight down. Other than the occasional bathroom issue, which is why we have to rehome her before our child is crawling around, Junebug is an amazing cat.
