Online Adoption Application › Allie is a courtesy  posting. The foster listed above will be forwarding applications  to the current  owner. Allie has been around young kids and done well. She is litter box trained and fromt and back declawed. While she does well with other cats she can be a bit of a bully to ones who are smalller than her. She is otherwise sweet loving and curious. She also likes to hear herself  talk sometimes. She does let her curiosity  get the best of her sometiems and likes to chew on plastic bags and such. Allie has always been a fully indoor cat. Her curent owner has her groomed/fur trimmed every 6 months due to her long fur. Allie's owners will make sure she is up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 25, 2024, 8:09 pm

Story
Meet Sonya! Sonya is the sweetest girl who loves all people and loves other cats! She loves to talk to people asking for attention and has a goofy playful side. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was very thin and sick. We worked on helping her gain weight and got her healthy again! Sonya has tested positive for Feline Leukemia, so she will need to be an only cat or go in a home with other Feline Leukemia positive cats. Sonya is 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV, but positive for FeLV.

Story
Hello there, I'm Dolly Momma. I've lived a full life, raising a litter of kittens who've all found their forever homes. Now, it's my turn. I'm a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. Give me a chance and you'll see I'm quite friendly and sweet. I'm mellow and love to curl up in a cozy corner, but my curious side often gets the best of me. I love exploring new places and sniffing out new scents. I'm independent and can entertain myself, but I wouldn't mind having a human to share my days with. Why should you adopt me? Because I've got a lot of love left to give and I'm ready to settle down with a family who'll cherish me as much as I'll cherish them. Rescue Note: Dolly M. is blind in her left eye. She has been seen by two different veterinarians and they agreed that while further monitoring is warranted, her eye is stable and does not need intervention at this time. We are unable to determine if this is congenital, injury or other process. Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing, and deworming.

Story
Hello there, I'm Tori. I've spent most of my life raising kittens, but now I'm ready for a change of pace. I'm a bit shy at first, but give me some time and I'll warm up to you. I enjoy quiet moments, a comfy spot to relax, and the occasional chin scratch. Independence is my middle name, but I still appreciate the company of kind-hearted humans. My days of motherhood have given me a mellow, friendly demeanor. I'm not looking for excitement, just a peaceful home where I can retire in comfort. Why should you adopt me? Well, I believe every home needs a serene presence, a silent companion, a gentle friend. I promise to be all that and more. I'm ready to leave my past behind and start a new chapter. Will you be part of my story? Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing, and deworming.

Story
Meet Chia, an adult feline with a heart full of love. Chia's life has been full of nurturing moments, having raised kittens with tender care. Her desire for attention is endearing, not demanding, and she thrives on the companionship of those around her. Her voice is her charm, she's a vocal gal and isn't shy about asking for attention. Her love language is quality time, making every moment spent with her a memorable one. Chia is looking for a forever home where her gentle spirit and vocal nature can be appreciated. Adopting Chia means bringing home a friend who'll share your joys, comfort you in times of solitude, and fill your life with unconditional love and a lot of meows. Chia raised two kittens but may be selective of other cats, slow introductions are a must for a multi-cat household! If Chia sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please consider visiting shelbycats.com/adopt to begin the application process!
