Story
Meet Timothy aka Timmy. Timmy is what we in the industry call a handful. Truly there is not another cat within these four walls that exasperates us quite like Timmy and we say that with all the love in our hearts. Some cats just be like that, ya know? Timmy uses his brain cells to create chaos and test barriers. He's quick, smart, and forever plotting his next grand, chaotic adventure. He gives off major "it's better to seek forgiveness than ask for permission vibes and, while utterly sigh inducing 9 times out of 10, we're kinda here for it. You only live once, am I right? Now you may say "hey JCCC, you're not really giving this cat the best sales pitch and to that we would say that we are. Timothy's personality is strong (think like "The Force strong) and he deserves 100% transparency so he has the highest chance of success in his new home. So speaking of 100% transparency: Timothy is also an absolute sweetheart. I don't think he's ever met a stranger and he's always so happy to make new friends. He wants to be part of the family and he wants to provide companionship to those he loves. He is chaotic good, using his chaos to spread laughter and, in his own way, love. His future family will be undoubtedly be driven crazy to an extent but will also love this guy to death because he simply exists to bring love and light. So what does Timothy require in a home?: - A young, active feline companion. He needs a friend to rough house and plot with. - A human(s) who will give him the necessary enrichment to keep his chaotic noggin entertained. We'll discuss this during the adoption counseling. - A human who's super careful about doors as Timmy doesn't know what's good for him and ALWAYS tries to see what's on the other side. He needs a human who makes sure he stays safe and sound because he doesn't always expect the consequences to actions. - No young children due to the whole door thing. Timothy is about 2ish years old, neutered, UTD on core vaccinations, UTD on FeLV vaccine, FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call to inquire about adoptions. The volunteer who answers the phones does not handle our adoptions and will not be able to answer your questions. Message us or email us for questions.**

Story
Moose was in a set of cats we took in from around the Ft. Meyers local shelter. They were severely affected by the hurricane, and we drove down and took some animals to help and adopt out. We don't have history or his story. He was shaved when he came into the shelter in Florida, as there was hurricane debris stuck in his long hair, and no way to brush it out. Because of that, he will require medical shaving occasionally. He is the first one to greet you when you enter the room, and always wants pets. Don't let his age fool you, he is very active!
