Story
I rescued Momo in 2019. She was born outside and the mother disappeared when she was only 4 weeks old. The rest of the litter was adopted. She is shy but very playful kitty who is super food motivated. She has zero aggression! I currently have her and another cat plus my roommate has a cat. I believe she is struggling living with so many other animals and people. We have determined she has a chicken and beef allergy and so feed her a fish only diet using Tiki cat brand as it has zero chicken byproducts. She uses the litter box properly. She does well with letting me brush her as long as I have a treat. She is an amazingly sweet cat who is come to you and tap you when she wants affection. I have never had a problem with her getting on counters or tvs stations. She prefers low hidden places and takes lots of naps. She does use scratching posts and loves the ball track toy the most. She truly needs to be a single animal home. Vet said no outdoors or she’d suffer eyesight loss from sun.

Story
Eleanor was living on the street and we took her in the winter of 2022. She doesn't get along with our other cats. We tried to integrate them when we first brought her in and she is too frightened of the other cats and that causes her to lash out at them. She has been staying in our basement and we lock our other two cats in a room so she can roam around the house. We tried recently to integrate them again and she is still so frightened that she lashes out. It is changing the demeanor of our two male cats. One of our male cats tries to get under the door at her and has bitten and scratched me when I try to make him move away. Eleanor is lonely in the basement and sometimes cries because she wants to be near people. However, she is very independent and needs an owner that will allow her to have space. She sits on our laps for several minutes at a time. She is sweet and would thrive in a house with adults, and no other animals. Next option is KHS where she will most likely be put down.

Story
Hi, I'm Pinky and I'm just as sweet as I am beautiful! I love to be petted and reward any attention with loud, affectionate purrs. I get along well with everyone I meet, including other kitties. In fact, I was an incredibly loving mama to a litter of kittens! I can't wait to find my furever home where I can share my heart full of love with my furever family. Oh, and by the way I always use the litterbox like a queen, so no worries there! To meet me, go to WAALrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.

Story
Hello, I'm El Dorado. I'm as precious as the gold city I'm named after. I'm a cuddly, friendly, gentle soul looking for a forever home. I love the feel of carpet under my paws: it's soft, comforting, and keeps me from slipping. I have a slight facial tic; they don't really know why, and I'm perfectly healthy otherwise. I'm just like any other cat, with a bit more love to give. I prefer a home with kids over 12: they understand my gentle nature. I'm litter boxed trained and ready to be spoiled rotten. To meet me fill out an application at waalrescue.org/adopt.
