Story
Hi, my name is Scarlett, and I was a street cat. I didn't have a real home then, but I learned to be friendly with humans to get what I needed. So they fed me and made sure I couldn't have more kittens, so you'll see that my left ear is tipped, meaning that I am spayed. I am agreeable and love to happily follow my person around, either indoors or outdoors. I know how to get attention by rubbing on them and even gently pawing at them. I'm slick like that! I don't meow much, but instead I communicate through my actions and will easily warm your heart by purring and warm glances. I want to be a loving and respectful companion, and receive love and respect in return. I get along with everyone, and would love to have a furever home, hopefully yours! Please consider adopting me, and I promise you will be glad you did. Peace and Love.

Story
I've had Alaska since she was 8 weeks old - adopted her from the Kansas Humane Society in August 2014. She is one of the mellowest cats I've ever been around. Super happy to do her own thing, but loves to be pet when she wants to be pet. I don't think she's ever scratched me or bitten me in all those years. She's gentle and sweet, but hates to be held. Alaska has been with my other cat, Omar, since 2016 and while I'd love them to stay together, I also think she'd do great in just about any home with someone who's got time to hang out with her and has windows for her to sit in.

Story
Meet River: The Sweet and Shy Feline! Hello! I’m River, a soft and sweet girl who may be a bit shy at first, but I have so much love to give once I feel safe. I need my own little hidey hole—a cozy spot where I can retreat when things get overwhelming. It helps me feel secure, and I promise I’ll come out when I’m ready! I absolutely LOVE to scratch on my cat trees, so it’s important to have plenty of scratching posts and cardboard scratchers around. They’re my happy place! I also enjoy gentle brushing with a soft bristle brush; it feels wonderful! I have a few special needs to keep in mind. I require a low-sided litter box all to myself—I don’t like to share! I’m a bit particular about my potty habits, so I prefer to perch on the sides to keep my feet clean. I have sensitivities to chicken, turkey, and peas, which means I can’t have any of those in my diet. It’s really important to check labels because if I eat something I shouldn’t, I might get sick. I’m currently on a strict canned food-only diet to help manage my Feline IBD. I do enjoy the company of other cats and can be quite affectionate once I know I’m safe. If you have a calm home and the patience to help me come out of my shell, I would love to meet you!
