JAZ is a sweet and playful girl that definitely has a big personality. She does like other kitties but is very picky about who gets to be her friend! She loves humans. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Oliver and Finn are looking for a compassion family that has the means to provide routine medical care for them. Both boys were combo tested positive for FIV. This is not the same as the leukemia virus. FIV is not transferred amount cats that have been altered. Both boys are vetted, microchipped, and UTD on their vaccines. They have been sitting in a county shelter for months waiting on their family to find them. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. Well we still have momma plus two of her bonded bobtail babies. Momma is now known as Fancy and is at the cottage enjoying the farm life. Thru a trial adoption, we learned she’s not found of being inside full time and not a fan of human children. She loves to help you garden and today is helping me with the sidewalk. If only money for food and flea/tick meds wasn’t an issue, we would take every cat like her. She’s never moody towards other animals. It’s honestly a blessing to watch her enjoy life.
