You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Update… Big Papa is now with us at the cottage. You just can’t ask for a better best friend. We just love him, but we have lots of dominate cats that keep Papa from really relaxing and loving on us humans. he’s even more handsome in person than his original pictures showed. He is also very content on being inside if that’s where his humans are. He shows very little interest in going back outdoors. We do feel like he would like to have a cat friend at his forever home. He’s quite the lady’s man.    Big Papa is currently located in Greenville, Ky.. He isn’t is able to go inside the home, but can go in the garage and chooses to do that often.  We feel like he would be best suited in a home that has inside and safe outside access, however, he may do just fine full time inside. We really need to get him moved out of his current placement. Papa would love to roll over for you to give him a belly rub, and he definitely needs to be away from other male cats because he is dominate toward them. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.  Please visit and like our social media...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties   https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf   and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.    May 29, 2023, 11:53 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Remember our dumpster momma from a campground in Muhlenberg? Well we still have momma plus two of her bonded bobtail babies. Momma is now known as Fancy and is at the cottage enjoying the farm life. Thru a trial adoption, we learned she’s not found of being inside full time and not a fan of human children. She loves to help you garden and today is helping me with the sidewalk. If only money for food and flea/tick meds wasn’t an issue, we would take every cat like her. She’s never moody towards other animals. It’s honestly a blessing to watch her enjoy life. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Biscuit is 3.5-4 years old and losing his dad because because a change in the living situation. Biscuit has neen declawed and neutered. He has not been around any other animals since he was 10 weeks old. He has also not been wkth children, and generally declawed cats are not a fan of children. He will have to have an inside only home. He has never been outside at all. While we do not support declawing in any way, we definitely are wanting to make sure this sweet boy finds a home like he is used to and that his transition is minimal. He's a gorgeous long hair tabby that deserves the forever home that he thought he had found.
