Story
Andy is a loving fur ball! He loves cat trees and balls. He has been a great cat with no health or behavior issues. We are unable to keep him as we just found out my husband is allergic. He loves cuddling. He knows the word treats and loves to get treats. He is best friends with our other cat which we would love to keep them together if possible. He was born in October 2018.

This sweetheart had four kittens and she was the surrogate mama of two other kittens who were found without a mom. If you are interested in adopting Sunrise, fill out an application today! The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All cats and kittens are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medical to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and mites they may have. All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested, and cats at least a year old are also tested for feline immuno virus. Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. Most cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.

Story
Grandpa T is a sweet senior fellow of around 16 years old who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! Pa T does NOT like other cats & would do best as the only pet in a home. Perhaps because of his abandonment, he needs affection with new people to be slow & on his terms, he will react negatively if you do not respect his boundaries. When he feels safe & you've earned his trust he will headbutt you for pets & show off his lap cat side. Pa T is FIV positive but that doesn't affect his day to day life at all!

Story
Glenda was found curled up in an apartment complex lot after her owner moved out. She had a large healing wound on her hip and her coat was in bad shape. She battled a bladder infection when we first got her but is doing better now! She does have some early elevated kidney values that will need to be watched, but she's a sweet girl who deserves a calm home. She can be a bit spicy when you try to make her do something she rather not! She would probably do best in a quieter home where she can be the boss!
