Story
Grandpa T is a sweet senior fellow of around 16 years old who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! Pa T does NOT like other cats & would do best as the only pet in a home. Perhaps because of his abandonment, he needs affection with new people to be slow & on his terms, he will react negatively if you do not respect his boundaries. When he feels safe & you've earned his trust he will headbutt you for pets & show off his lap cat side. Pa T is FIV positive but that doesn't affect his day to day life at all!

Story
A-A-Ron was rescued from a parking lot as a young kitten after a canned food snack and lots of coaxing. He has always been a shy boy, but in a small setting he loves all the attention and scratches. He is now about a year old & would probably do best in a quieter home.

Story
Blimey & Gadzooks were found in a garden shed with their feral mama and were raised together in a foster home. Blimey is pretty shy around people, and likes his environment calm and quiet - he's a cat's cat and gets along with small dogs. Gadzooks is also shy, but does great with all the other cats and small dogs in his foster home. They are now about 8 months old & would love homes where they'll have friends, attention and can come out of their shells!

Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Garden Gnome, Gnome for short, came to us when someone put out a request for an indoor home for this handsome boy they were feeding outside in their garden. He required some medical attention as he needed some dental care, entropian surgery to assist with his vision and to prevent further irritation and to be neutered. After a few months in foster we noticed his breathing was a little off and after an x-ray/exam it was recommended he see a cardiologist due to his enlarged heart where we discovered that Gnome does live with a heart murmur and was recently diagnosed with Hypertrophic Obstructing Cardiomyopathy and Heart Disease. The vet who diagnosed him has given him up to a year to live. Right now he is on two medications. They may add in a third if he continues to do well. Medicating him is a breeze, he strongly prefers the salmon flavored pill pockets though! While Gnome may not be here for a long time, he's here to have a fun time! He tends to act shy and reserved at first, however once he is comfortable you will have your own chatty shadow. Gnome enjoys playing with his foster siblings tails as well as grooming them. He would do best either as the sole pet or with other very laid back friends, as more dominant cats lead to stressing him out which negatively affects his health. Gnome has no thoughts in his brain, he is just fluff and all he wants is to get to enjoy the luxuries of living in the great indoors such as the constant grooming to help maintain his beautiful long coat, constant fresh water and toys! He will pay his cat rent though, by presenting to you his pretty blue eyes and his polydactyl beans! He also will communicate with you if you are doing something that causes him to feel over-stimulated or bothered by gently nipping at you, he is a gentle giant though and means no harm in this! We would love to find him a home that will love him for the rest of the life he has been given. We are now accepting applications to meet Gnome, who is currently with his foster. Ask about meeting him at the cafe today!

Story
Kool Aid, Capri Sun, Hawaiian Punch, and Sunny D (4 months old) are the babies of Mama Juice Box! These fun loving, chatty kittens are the sweetest boys! They love to run around, wrestle, and play, then snuggle up together for a nice nap. String toys and little toys like mousies that they can chase around are their favorite! These four playful boys must be adopted with a sibling, another cafe cat, or into a home with a resident cat that they can become buddies with!
