Story
Grandpa T is a sweet senior fellow of around 16 years old who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! Pa T does NOT like other cats & would do best as the only pet in a home. Perhaps because of his abandonment, he needs affection with new people to be slow & on his terms, he will react negatively if you do not respect his boundaries. When he feels safe & you've earned his trust he will headbutt you for pets & show off his lap cat side. Pa T is FIV positive but that doesn't affect his day to day life at all!

Story
Glenda was found curled up in an apartment complex lot after her owner moved out. She had a large healing wound on her hip and her coat was in bad shape. She battled a bladder infection when we first got her but is doing better now! She does have some early elevated kidney values that will need to be watched, but she's a sweet girl who deserves a calm home. She can be a bit spicy when you try to make her do something she rather not! She would probably do best in a quieter home where she can be the boss!

Story
Emile came to us from the same place, but is definitely more shy. He was far less socialized than some of the other kitties we got out of this situation, and he wasn’t even fixed yet. We got him fixed and up-to-date on vaccines, but he was still incredibly scared of people and would yowl and growl to let us know about it whenever we approached his condo. We could see he was curious and wanting to be brave, so he moved to a foster who could focus on his socialization directly. Sure enough, 24 hours—and one churu treat—later, he had visibly relaxed and even allowed some very tentative chin scritches! Turns out this boy will do just about anything for more churu. He still has some domestic cat skills left to master and a ways to go on his socialization journey, but he has graduated to allowing pets all around his head without treats (if you go slow) and mainly yowling when his foster buddies are getting treats instead of him. Emile will need a quiet home with someone who understands his ways of communication and at least one brave kitty friend to remind him everything’s okay. We are now accepting applications to meet Emile!

Story
Myla's (long hair black) story is one of resilience. She was surrendered by her owner after disappearing for a few days, during which time her condition worsened. When she returned, she was in pain and refused to eat, though a thorough examination revealed only a few ulcerations in her mouth with no other obvious issues. Myla is very friendly with people, though she initially struggled with the presence of other cats, often becoming grumpy. However, she has made significant progress while in foster care, showing her much more adaptable side. Despite this, she might thrive best in a home with older children and fewer other cats, where she can receive the attention and care she needs.

Story
Solomon (long hair orange & white) and Cecilia (short hair orange & white) came from a hoarder, arriving with a host of challenges. Both cats had a condition called entropion, where their eyelids rolled inward, causing discomfort. As a result, they each required surgery, and you may still notice the suture line under their eyes. Despite their rough start, Solomon and Cecilia have shown incredible resilience. They are both quite shy, but Solomon is expected to warm up more quickly. You might notice Solomon's quirky haircut-a necessity due to the severe matting he had when he first arrived.

Story
Mutt (DLH) is a senior and was also a dedicated caregiver to his human and is looking for a new forever home. He is so friendly and affectionate, he even sometimes does give soft love bites. He is fine with other cats, and has been fine with small dogs. He's a big floof cat, loves naps, sleeping in, loves pets and being brushed... and his favorite treats are Temptations, shrimp flavor!
