Story
Riona is enchanting and a sweetie pie! At times she insists being by her human companion's side to be brushed or combed. Riona will claim a cardboard box and that's where you may find her taking a nap! Riona goes after things that move, slide, slither and wiggle, and can be really quick in capturing a green lizard. Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Riona gets along great with other cats and is accustomed to being around a small cat-friendly dog. Riona has a long coat with colors of gray and buff; she is a dilute tortoiseshell. Riona is 1 year old, and her adoption fee is $70. Story
Remedy is easy-going, gracious and precious. She will start out with her new family being timid and frightened in a strange environment inhabited by "giants" (you and your family)! Let Remedy "map it out" as she makes her way around the house to smell, investigate and identify safe places. She will depend on her own safe place to go such as a crate, kennel, carrier or cardboard box. Remedy is okay with being picked up and held closely as she melts into your chest. She has a very soft meow; at times it is a silent meow. Remedy will be your cure for drab days! Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family with older children. Remedy is accustomed to being around other cats and buddies up to kitty Briley. She has been around cat-friendly dogs. Remedy is a buff tiger tabby with a long coat and orange eyes. As of April 2025, Remedy is 7 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. Story
Brightley is careful, cautious and conscious. She is hypervigilant about her environment. Brightley is a Cat's Cat as she enjoys sharing her home with another cat. She is mild, hesitant and guarded. Brightley is good-natured about being picked up and petted. She gets a kick out of pushing a ball around a multi-level track cat toy. Brightley chooses fresh air by taking naps in a catio (cat patio). Her common sleeping pattern is curled up in a ball. Once familiar with her territory, Brightley will strut around the house calmly and is not offended if there is no human interaction! Her ideal home is with an individual or couple; a home with gentle spaces so she will feel safe and loved. An emotionally welcoming home that will build Brightley's self-confidence. She could become bonded to a feline friend as she was more socialized with other cats when she was young. Brightley will cuddle with her littermate Brightlyn or Briley. She is accustomed to being around cat-friendly dogs. Brightley has a long coat with the bright colors of a calico and stripes of a tabby; her unique fur pattern is caliby. As of May 2025, Brightley is 9 months old. Her adoption fee is $70. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. His leadership skills come forward as he pursues, chases and drives them away!
