Story
Garfield is a very loving 10yr old who wants to be a lap cat. He came to live with our family after one of our relatives could no longer care for him. He is very sweet and gentle, even with our toddler, but he needs a lot of attention. His previous owner was retired and devoted all their attention to him, but unfortunately we're not in a position to do that. This causes him stress, and to sometimes go outside of his litter box. His vet has run the gambit, and Garfield is in excellent health. She believes this is behavioral, and a result of stress from not getting enough attention. The ideal home for Garfield would be with at least one person will be home most of the time, and where he will receive lots of attention. He should not live with other pets, but is good with people of all ages. If you're looking for a loving, fluffy, orange lap cat, Garfield would be a perfect fit.

Story
Emo’s Special Home Needs Emo is a lovely cat who has been in our care for over ten months, and her story is both touching and unique. During her stay, we discovered that she tested positive for heartworms—a result that deeply surprised us. Unfortunately, heartworm treatment options for cats are not available, so providing Emo with the best possible quality of life is our main priority. Emo’s current health is good, but her ongoing well-being depends on attentive supportive care. She thrives in an environment where she feels safe and comfortable, enriched with stimulating activities and a cozy windowsill where she can bask in the sun. Regular visits to the veterinarian are essential to monitor her health and ensure she remains happy and comfortable. If you are considering giving Emo a forever home, please consult with your veterinarian to discuss her specific needs and ensure you are prepared to provide the supportive care she deserves.

Story
Tubby lives at home with his brother (from another litter), Zazu, also listed here. Tubby has never been without Zazu and would like to go with him or to a home with another loving and playful cat. his age fool you, Tubby is always on the move. He LOVES to explore. Tubby likes to see what is behind every door. He came from a home with Dobermans and lived with a dog for a short period of time while family was in town. He is very playful, loves toys, milk caps, hair ties, mouse catching or anything he can play with to keep busy. During his downtime which is not often, he sunbathes or sleeps with his brother. His brother is a little more independent where Tubby likes to be the little brother. He is not fond of being held, never has been but will let you pick him up for a quick kiss. However, he LOVES to be pet and talk to you. Nail trimming is not the easiest as he is not fond of being held for long. He is an amazing and very active kitty.
