Story
Jesse is a beautiful 1 year old long hair male cat that is so sweet and gentle. This boy is beautiful, weighing in at 8.0 lbs as of 5/2/25 He is very friendly and would make a great part-time lap cat. He does still like his space from time to time. We think this is because he has grown up in a home with a lot of other cats though, so he doesn’t get as much attention as he wants. We do believe when adopted, he will be a full-time lap cat and cuddler. He does like sitting on cat trees and watching the other cats go about their business. He will also sit on you or next to you if you’re on the couch. He’s a Netflix and chill type of cat. Jesse, oddly enough, loves to eat fruit and would love a home that gave fruit to him for treats. He will sit and stare at you until he gets some in the kitchen. Never have we seen a cat that loves fruit as much as he does. Jesse is such a deserving boy and has grown up with dogs, other cats and older children in the home. He would do wonderful with all of them. He is barely reaching a year old, so he has a lot of life and love to give to his future forever home. Jesse is neutered, current on vaccinations, FIV/FLV negative, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. To apply for Jesse please fill out an application on our website at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Our P litter kittens are ready for adoption! These sweet babies have not had an easy life. They were born to a momma cat that has always been outdoors but cared for by a family. They did not realize the mom cat was pregnant until she was already giving birth. Originally, there were 5 for the litter but prior to us getting them, 1 of the kittens was killed by a stray dog. We got the 4 to safety as soon as we heard about them, and they are currently thriving in our fosters home. They are about 6-7 weeks old as of 6/2/2025 – They all can fit into the palm of your hand they're so small. They are eating hard food. There are 4 in the litter – 2 males and 2 females: Patches – long hair white/black male Peanut – medium hair orange/white male Pearl – medium hair all orange female Pebbles – medium hair all orange female Since they were born outside, but at a home, they have been handled by humans, adults and children, since they were born almost. They are very outgoing and friendly. They don't mind being handled and they love being around humans. They get along with other cats but have not been properly introduced to doggies. Given they are so young, we believe with proper introductions and some time, they will thrive in a home with dogs too. Even though they are super friendly, playful and curious, they only weigh about 1-1.2 lbs (as of 6/2/25) – so PLEASE if you have young children, make sure they know how to properly handle such a small furbaby. They are learning what toys are and love to swat at the wands and the balls on the floor. It's adorable seeing kittens learn the firsts! They are litter box trained! They are absolutely loving the indoors and will thrive as indoor kitties. If you're looking for an amazing kitty that will provide love, laughter, entertainment, cuddles, and a perfect all around cat, please consider adopting one of these babies. You can apply to adopt at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org They are current on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and will receive a health certificate from a veterinarian prior to adoption giving them a clean bill of health.

Story
Hi, friends! Corey here. I`m a younger guy who likes long walks on the beach. Seriously, though, I love my people and will demand pets when I want them. I am diabetic and do need more special care than some of the other kitties at the shelter. Please email one of my friends at tmanzer@mohawkhumanesociety.org for more information and to set up an appointment to meet me!
