Story
Ditteh is a TNR kitten fail, he is a former feral kitten that is now 5 years old. He is double coated and needs to be maintained as such, currently matted due to time and finances, I will be trying to shave mats out over the next few days. Ditteh became my daughters favorite which is why he stayed, finances really force downsizing due to the rising costs of everything. He will willingly be dragged around by a child, but does prefer quiet, he would much rather be in the background unnoticed than be bothered but he will tolerate attention. He does not seek out attention, he currently lives in a multi pet household, since coming to me he has lived inside his entire life.

Story
Miss Lotti is a sweet girl, she is estimated to be just over a year old. Lotti is very sweet with people but a little timid around other cats. She tends to stay to herself in our community cat room but comes out to see us when approached. She enjoys being held and loves affection. Lotti will thrive in a quieter home and could live with another cat, we think she is just overwhelmed in the community room. She is not aggressive with the other cats, she would rather stay to herself when in a large group. ____________ Considering Lotti for adoption? Start by filling out our online application (copy and paste the following link) https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DIX/Cat Once submitted, we’ll review it and reach out to approved applicants by phone or email. A Petfinder Inquiry is not the same as an application - COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a generated confirmation email. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY READY TO ADOPT. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents

Hello new friends! My name is Leno and I am on the hunt for my furever home! I am a sophisticated lad who has a few requests of my new home. In exchange for the love and entertainment I promise to provide, I would like to request that I am the only furry friend in the home. I prefer to rule my own roost, thank you very much! I do also request that there are no human kiddos as I enjoy a nice quiet home to enjoy my leisure years. Are you looking for a fine dining friend with a perfect black tuxedo to grace your home? Come down to meet me today! This pet is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. You will meet this pet more than once before entering into a 3-week trial placement in your home. Story
Hello, I`m Isabelle and I am a Spirit Cat. This means I can be a bit shy or nervous and I appreciate the company of cats more than humans. An adult only, experienced home with other cats would be ideal for me! Since I am shy, I would like to go to a home with an experienced cat owner. I love relaxing in my hidey box with my Spirit Cat friends, and if you give me space, I`ll peek out and watch you while we hang. Even though I am not super into cuddles, I will still make a great companion and maybe we can even do some birdwatching together!
