Story
Asheville, NC Is your dream cat a long haired chonk? Then we have the kitty for you! Meet 3 yr old Calvin, a very big floof of a kitty. He has totally captured my heart. Calvin is opinionated about what he likes & doesn’t like. We don’t think he will do well in a home with young children because he will take a little swat at you to let you know he doesn’t like something. He is looking for the purrfect cat savvy human who just needs a kitty to love. Calvin will be happy to love you right back. Apply at FurEverFriendsavl.org & a volunteer will be in touch. #wheresmyfamily #FurEverFriendsAvl

Story
Maya is a lap cat, she loves pets and food. She is sweet and well-behaved. She can be held in your arms and rocked, enjoys nestling next to you for naps and cuddles in the morning. She really enjoys being around humans. At the beginning she may seem a little shy, but warms up quickly. She likes to be mostly indoors. But can go enjoy going out if she has access to get back in. She can be around other animals if they are older and give her space. She will not do well with a playful puppy for example. The same with kids. She does well with older kids but not younger, rambunctious children. She is very healthy and has been maintained on a grain free diet. She sometimes yowls in the morning for food but this is addressed with an automatic feeder. I will be moving out of the country and will not be able to bring her. Planning to be available while rehoming happens so that I can take her back if things don’t work out. Adoption fee refunded after 3 months successful adoption.

Story
Marshmallow is about 2 years old (born in summer of 2023). He was found outside as a kitten, and still wants to go outside, but does well staying in. He is a big lover! He wants to lay on you, purr, and give massages. He loves snuggling with the other cats. He tolerates our two dogs, but prefers a quiet window. Our home has become too stressful for him.

Story
Meet Labubu! Labubu is a stunning grey long-haired boy about a year old, and he is truly a big love. This sweet guy adores people and is happiest soaking up attention, pets, and companionship. We don’t have a known history of Labubu with other cats or dogs, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, he could do well in a home with other pets. Labubu will be foster-to-adopt for a short period while we address an unfortunate broken tooth, and our team will support you through that process. Once that’s behind him, he’ll be ready to settle into his home and continue being the affectionate, loving companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a gentle, people-loving cat with a big heart (and a lot of fluff), Labubu might be your perfect match
