Story
Joni is a fluffy, gorgeous girl with the softest, long, silky fur. She is neither too aloof nor too needy. She enjoys stalking her interactive toys and tumbling with her playmates. Joni is another friendly, outgoing rockstar that is irresistable and guaranteed to melt your heart!  During her spay surgery, it was discovered that Joni was born with only one Fallopian tube and one ovary.  The spay/neuter clinic vet said when that happens, often there is also one kidney so we did an x-ray to confirm Joni only has one kidney.  Thankfully, we only need one kidney (as long as it is functioning properly).  Meet Joni at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd from 6-8pm Wednesday or 12-4pm, Saturday during our adoption events.  You can also apply online to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time.  Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens.  They are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. May 30, 2023, 4:45 pm

Story
Mark is definitely the goofball of the bunch. He is confident in his actions, like climbing to the highest part of the cat tree, but his descents are less than! Mark loves zooming around the room and getting his paws on any ball that rolls past him. He is a big love bug and enjoys a good head rub.  Their foster has shared that these kittens are still learning appropriate play behavior and still bite pretty hard so they would be best in a home without young children and with another comparably matched kitten or playful young adult cat or young dog to teach them appropriate play behavior.    Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens.  Meet Iota, Speckle, Mark, Pip and Splotch at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd from 12-4pm, Saturday during our adoption event.  You can also apply online to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time.    All kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative.   All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Story
Don't mind Kensie's bad haircut - she's in good health and is ready for a great home. Kensie was well-loved in her last home so it a little timid in the shelter environment, but she quickly warms up and after that she's as affectionate as can be. Aside from her wonderful personality, Kenzie is also a gorgeous cat with long, black-and-white-patched fur and stunning yellow eyes. She's got the size to match her big heart, and she's more than ready to be in a loving home once again!
