Story
Beautiful but not always nice, Annie sometimes wants to be petted, but other times she will smack you when you reach to pet her! She might smack you too when you're putting down food because you're not getting it out fast enough 😊. We think she might not be so naughty in a home where she doesn't have to share with other cats. Are you willing to give this gorgeous girl a chance? Annie’s approximate date of birth is 5/8/2020.

Story
Abu is sweet 10 year old cat who loves cuddles, snacks and treats. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford to keep him. He is vocal and will meow with love when his owner is nearby. He gets along with cats, dogs, and children. This is an urgent need for me. He deserves a good home that I can no longer provide him.

Story
Westley is a sweet, easy-going guy who loves long naps in the sunshine. He has just been diagnosed with Stomatitis, and we will be taking care of his teeth issues this month. once his mouth heals, he will be ready for his forever home! He's such a nice guy who deserves only the coziest couches and most delicious meals. All of our kittens and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative results unless indicated), received booster vaccine, rabies vaccine and microchipped prior to going finalizing their adoption. Our adoption fee of $150 only recovers some of the expense each kitten/cat has received. If they were ill / injured when coming into our rescue they have received full medical care recommended. **We only adopt in the local area surrounding Hickory and Gastonia, NC. We do not transport or ship cats. No exceptions

Story
Pippet came into foster care with a severe eye infection that left him with a leaky tear duct, but don't let the tears fool you; this fluffy 4 month old perfectly embodies the goofy orange tabby stereotype. Though he was almost a pirate, his quirky personality has earned him the nickname "cuddle vampire" from his foster family. He wouldn't mind if you work 9-5 because tends to do his own thing during the daytime, but once the late afternoon rolls around he OBSESSIVELY demands attention, and at night his absolute favorite place to sleep at night is sprawled across your neck like a fuzzy heated scarf. He can be a little skittish around new people and isn't much for parties, but he LOVES "his person" and will cuddle with you any time.To apply for adoption, fill out an application form here: https://www.humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application For questions or more information, contact Elizabeth at jepucke2@gmail.com
